Nice looking restaurant and decor. Waitress was friendly and provided good service. The wonton soup was hot and tasty. It was just a tad bit over salted. I ordered the Moo Goo Shrimp. It was a nicely flavored entree. This is a nice restaurant for a nice quiet to meal.

We have eaten here a couple of times traveling to Louisville. Atmosphere is beautiful, every dish has been tasty, and the staff are friendly and attentive. We only wish we had one closer to where we live. On our last visit, we had veggie lo mein, green pepper steak, cashew chicken, bean curd tofu, spring rolls, wonton soup, and hot tea. Our group ate every bit! So delicious! We can't wait to return.

No clue if the food is good, only 2 servers working on a Saturday night. The hostess was awful. Work on your customer service skills.

The fact that Sichuan Garden isn't a full five stars is a tragedy. The food is only surpassed by the kindness of the family. You can taste the love they make each dish with and I've tried most of them. I have never been even remotely disappointed in a single dish. We have brought many people in to try this amazing place and all of them are now repeat customers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ambiance still hasn't changed... but the food and staff is the same... THE BEST! Went for NYE and did the family of 5 special on the back of the menu and it was great.

My husband and I were in the mood to try something new last week and this came across my Yelp feed. As we arrived, we were greeted and quickly sat to our table. We were very impressed with their lunch menu and ordered two appetizers, the Crab Rangoon and Egg Drop Soup. The Crab Rangoon was fresh and very large and delicious. The Egg Drop soup was also very good and had a great broth. We both went with the General Tso's chicken with Fried Rice and Egg Roll. It was all so delicious and the chicken was perfectly sauced and crispy, not too spicy although they ask you how spicy you'd like it. Mild was perfect! We both agreed that we will be adding this to our normal rotation. Once we sat, I remembered coming here a few times as a child and confirmed once the waitress informed me they had been in that location for 34 years, How impressive! I can tell you that the decor probably hasn't changed much, if at all from what was here from the start, but that really doesn't matter when the food is as good as it is. For all that we ordered, our total was no more than $33 for lunch! The service was fantastic and we will most definitely return!

I expected more of Sichuan Garden Chinese Restaurant because they have been in business for over 30 years. I will start with saying the people were nice & the service was fine. This restaurant could use a temporary close down for an update, remodel & a paring down of all the extra "stuff" - why do many Asian restaurants seem to have live fish as part of their decor? Do they think people want to see swimming fish while eating their sushi or other seafood dishes? The booths seem well worn; we sat so low that we could have bent our heads right to the table to eat. The dining room itself seemed clean, although dark decor. The restrooms were another story. I went to the women's restroom & could NOT bring myself to use it; the floor was sticky & dirty, 3 of the 4 stalls were open & looked decrepit. One stall had a sign - out of order - to not use. I'm not sure how easily a handicapped person with a walker or wheelchair could navigate the restroom or the main restaurant entrance. The front door entrance is tight, with a tiny little vestibule that serves as a weather break before the main door. It was hard for us fairly able-bodied adults. The food might make me return but with different soup & different entrees for sure. The wonton soup had no Asian flavor like the many dozens of wonton soups from different places I've had. It tasted like plain chicken broth with no umami & a single wonton noodle dropped in. No green onions on top. The crispy noodles served with the soup were excellent though. The appetizers of egg roll & crab Rangoon were also excellent. I can't say that I tasted any crab in the Rangoon, but it had a wonderful slightly smokey flavor that seemed like pork. The entrees were overly salty & that came back on us later. We had cashew chicken, which was okay, but the mushrooms added in were cold & not cooked at all. The Mongolian Beef was also okay but too saucy & salty. This was all the dinner menu which is a little pricier than your usual Chinese food establishment. I may give them another try, but it would be for the lunch menu. The Crab Rangoon is what would bring me back.

Great atmosphere and decor. It’s a little hidden but a find that’s worth it. The lo mein was a bit on the sweet side. Awesome house made egg rolls.
