My friend said her Lasagna was the best she had ever had. The porch chop, Ziti with Vodka sauce and Scampi were excellent. The wait staff exceeded expectations and made us feel like family.
My family, while visiting Louisville , wanted an Italian dinner. I discovered Silvio's had long history in Louisville and chose to dine there. We arrives shorly after the restaurant opened. We has the place to ourselves. In a short time the restaurant was packed as you can see in the photos. We were welcomed by the owner, Bill, who took time to chat with us, recomment a great chianti and talked a little about the evening's choices. I asked about the shrimp and polenta....
Great service and atmosphere. Seated next to a pole that was not the best but did not bother our dinner. Fried ravioli appetizer was outstanding. The house red pasta sauce was also amazing. We had a teramasu as a dessert. The best is all I can say! Highly recommend this quaint restaurant with excellent food and service.
