What a treat! It’s almost impossible to find Nordic treats in the South. Being from the Midwest, I’ve missed those treats! Finally got to try Smør after a few years of following them on Facebook since I made it to town. We tried the Cinnamon knots and Lingonberry knots and they were even better than what we had while visiting Sweden and Finland! We brought home lefse and Finnish Pulla. Can’t wait to try those! If you are in the area, please support this awesome bakery. The gift shop was great too! We bought some Swedish blueberry jam and Lingonberry jam which looked exactly like we brought back with us from Sweden.

I am dieting, and I had a crustless quiche, it was delicious. I am going to try and make it at home. And my husband loved his. It is only open o Friday and Saturday.

Not only has everything I’ve ever tried from Smor been absolutely delicious, but the service is excellent too. I placed a special order and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me right before Thanksgiving. Thank you so much!

Stopped in early afternoon on a Saturday, selection was fairly picked over but I was still able to get some delicious treats. I’m still dreaming and drooling over the cinnamon knot and the brioche was one of the best brioche’s I’ve ever had, it was super light and fluffy. My only regret was not grabbing more to take back to home. Definitely will be stopping by when I’m in Louisville again!

Sent emails all day trying to order a cake was told I would receive an invoice finally got it at 11pm at night stating I had to have the invoice paid by that day of course I’m not seeing it until 8am the next day, go to pay and of course a mandatory 14$ tip is added to the bill and I haven’t even received a service to decide if I’m even wanting to tip, but there’s no other option!! I really wanted to try this place but I guess it’s just not for middle class ppl I flat out can’t afford this cake with this added tip smh 90$ total just wow

Yummy pastries. Reminded me of my great aunt's in Sweden.

"Unfortunately, we have had to temporarily close." Posted on doors. Please see photo below. A few cars drove up while we were looking for somewhere else to go. Hopefully they will be open soon.

The honey rye loaf is one of the very best loaves of bread in Louisville!!

The pastry I got was good but it's weird to have no restrooms for customers or indoor seating. (There are 2 small sidewalk tables by the parking lot.) No espresso machine so don't expect bakery quality drinks-just gas station style cream and sugar diy for mediocre coffee. My coffee and pastry was $8ish.
