The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and TJ went above and beyond to help us, even when a customer was causing a bit of a stir and trying to get free food. TJ and the manager remained incredibly calm and handled the situation with great skill, ensuring that everyone else had a pleasant experience. And the gluten free bun is great.

Smashburger is in a strange place among fast food burgers. For an extra dollar, I could have gotten a far superior meal from buffalo wild wings. For about $4 less, I could have purchases a comparable meal from jaggers.I probably wouldn't have written this review if it cost $13; that's slightly more than McDonald's, which is what I received in my meal. But a bacon cheese burger with one burger patty, luke warm fries and a fountain drink for $17 is a little ridiculous. Tastewise it was fine, but not mindblowing. The meats were cooked well. The fries were a little tough. I probably eat here once every other year, and each time I'm reminded of why. It satisfied the craving, until 2028.
Side note: the worker at the register was dope. As for the atmosphere, it feels a bit like a hospital cafeteria.
