Normally, I do not have the time to write reviews for stuff like this, but this Starbucks is comically horrible. You would think for the part of town that it is in with the Ford truck factory being extremely close as well as other bigger businesses, they would over staff the drive-through line with everybody needing to be in and out within Five minutes. Every time I sit in that line, I am there for 20+ minutes I do not even attempt the inside line with most days I See the inside packed tighter than a can of sardines. Moral of the story do not go to the Starbucks try to go to another one because this one will most definitely make you late to work.

I love this Starbucks. They always greet me when I enter & I never have to wait long for my order. TJ is the best!
Always friendly.

This is definitely the worst Starbucks in the area. I deliver for doordash, so I'm in here often. They NEVER acknowledge you. I met eyes with five employees, all socializing, and not a single one said hello or asked what I needed. The person that was supposed to be bagging my order, had her back turned the counter and was coloring on the bag. She had no idea I was there because the employees also didn't care enough to let her know I was waiting there. This isn't the first time something like this has happened and I'm sure it won't be the last...

Been going to this Starbucks for about 10 years now! Used to love it now it’s just rude employees and can’t get help after standing there for 5-10 minutes!
Quick drive thru
I’ve lived all over the world, both within and outside of the United States. I’ve been to Starbucks in every location I’ve traveled where it’s offered. From grandiose locations in Taipei, to trailer housed Starbucks in the Middle East. My star collection history is embarrassingly large. Out of all of those locations - this one is the most unreliable and worst. If they aren’t on their quarterly strike - usually centered around a holiday to create the biggest impact on people stuck at home with small children - then they are randomly closed with employees inside for reasons unknown.
Save yourself the headache, and go to the one on Shelbyville road.

It’s kinda hard to rate a Starbucks low but here I am doing just that. The barista had the personality of a wet napkin. He was so bland and unfocused on customers that he was almost unfriendly. This particular location kept all of the sugar (and like items) behind the counter and when asked for said items he acted as if he was bothered to do so. The location was not clean or welcoming at all. The only plus to this visit was the my coffee was well made and tasted delish (after I received my sugar packets 🙄) I will not be returning to this Jack London, Oakland location. There’s a Starbucks on every other corner… the thing that should make you stand out is your customer service!

I've tried 3 times, only ordering a drink. Waiting 12 to 15 minutes isn't my idea of a good time especially when i go specifically when there is no rush, it never has been a complex drink (base premade and single something else). When 2-3 people come after me by several minutes can get there multiple order drink before me plus bakery items and did not mobile preorder. Nope, i am good. I rather not try any more.
Dietary restrictions: Nondairy options available

Layout and staff are very unwelcoming. Hard uncomfortable chairs and a general “hurry up and get your drink and get out” vibe from start to finish.
Employees were just basically slamming orders on counter and yelling names and turning away. Barest minimum of customer service.
Floor was dirty and tables are wearing out. Solicited us for a tip (“it’s going to ask you a question”) when all we bought was a boxed apple juice. I know it’s automated, but seriously? Why don’t I tip for opening the door on my own too?
Go home and brew Folgers. At least there your back won’t hurt in the chairs and the only snarling face you’ll see will be in the mirror or in family photos.
Rude employees, I ordered the new iced pecan crunch latte. My drink had no cold foam or crunch! My team said thank you for our order & nothing! Train better!!
