My wife and I had the most incredible time. Jorge (restaurant manager) was unbelievably kind and welcoming. We will be making this location a regular date spot for us!

Great clean place. Great staff. Even though I didn't order or want a drink, the manager instead on giving me one. You don't see this kind hospitality nowadays.

I just want to say I appreciate Jorge! My boyfriend and I came into the restaurant and ordered our food and milkshakes at the kiosk and then we sat down at our table and one of the waitresses brought our food to us and then Jorge brought brought our milkshakes to us right after. Before me and my boyfriend left, my boyfriend asked me to see if they would let us have one of the steak & shake glasses and if we had to pay for it but Jorge told us no charge for the glasses and just told us to write a review of our excellent service. Thank you Jorge for letting my boyfriend have a brand new Steak and Shake milkshake glasses. You made his day a lot brighter. We will most definitely be going back to steak and shake. I would give it more than 5 stars cause everything was excellent.

This place is back. Years ago, just before COVID I think, this location went to hell. Service, quality, everything is back on point under their new owners/management. I for one am very glad to see it cuz I used to love goin there as a teenager, now I get to see my boys enjoy it like I did.

Very good quality food and shakes, but they take a while to serve and if you order take away, the time is too long.

Our family visited Steak 'n Shake after not going there for several years, but unfortunately found a restaurant that has lost its way. While the food quality is still fine, the gimmick that made the place special – its authentic 1950s diner experience – has been transformed into a soulless, faceless meal that feels more suited to Blade Runner than American Graffiti.
The most jarring change is the replacement of traditional wait staff with touchscreen ordering kiosks. At a restaurant that built its brand on 1950s nostalgia, being greeted by a screen instead of a person feels particularly tone-deaf. The audacity of still prompting for tips after eliminating servers entirely just adds insult to injury.
The beverage system is a perfect example of the chain's Kafkaesque overengineered modernization. Want a soda? You'll receive a QR code that you must scan at the machine – a system so poorly thought out it's almost comical. The QR codes never expire, meaning anyone could use them indefinitely, and they don't even apply to tea or other drinks. So they've managed to create a "security system" that's both annoying and completely ineffective. Someone clearly spent a lot of money on this solution in search of a problem.
Under new management, Steak 'n Shake seems determined to destroy everything that made it special. They've kept the retro decorations while stuffing the place full of screens and QR codes that make eating there about as enjoyable as doing taxes. While the food itself is fine, the restaurant can't survive on that alone when its primary differentiator – the classic American diner experience – has been gutted in favor of impersonal technology.
Unless Steak 'n Shake rediscovers what its fundamental selling point is, I doubt this chain will be around much longer.
