This was a classic Steak'n Shake experience. The food was prepared in a very timely manner and was quite good. It was a clean restaurant and even had their seasoned salt out at the condiments. Overall a good experience and would recommend this location to anyone who likes burgers and fries.

We ordered and received our food and shakes quickly. The girl even brought them to us which she didn't have to do. She was very nice. I was having a not so great night, but she made it a little better.

The only complaint I have is that steak n Shake has changed their dill pickles.

I'm glad that this Steak 'n Shake location was able to make a comeback after COVID. I'm generally a fan of Steak 'n Shake, but this one more out of convenience than anything since it's about 2 miles from home. While I'm glad they were able to come back, I'm not a fan of some of the changes that were made. The most prominent one being ordering at a kiosk. #NotAFan There's something to be said for talking to a human being to place an order. The kiosks are 100% impersonal and are void of any human interaction at all. A part of the appeal of Steak 'n Shake is the throwback aesthetic of drive-up restaurants. It's now relegated to pushing buttons on a touch screen.Kiosks not withstanding, our visits to this location have been pretty good. We generally go on Friday evenings and there's usually a person in the dining room that's basically doing what a server would do after that server took the order instead of a piece of electronics. They help deliver food when the name is called, offer to get drink refills or condiments, help keep tables clean, or assist in other ways. They're dressed in the way that the servers used to be.The atmosphere hasn't changed much. It's still got a pretty laid back, vintage feel with lots of red, black and while, accented with some neon lights. Seems there used to be more booths than there are now. No matter, the ambiance is fun and makes me feel young.I don't notice any big changes in the menu since they came back. I 100% dig their Frisco Melt. While I love their fries, they get cold SO freakin' fast it's disappointing. When you get your fries you basically have to shove them all in your mouth at once, otherwise they'll be nothing but cold, deep-fried potato straws shortly. It's nice to have the Steak 'n Shake back, it really is. I can adjust. I really can.

Oh, everything is very fast to ask for your orders is very agile with its interactive screens and the cheap and very tasty hamburgers a good place to eat with the family

Food was good and what is expected for a steak and shake. One of the workers was very cheerful and her cheerfulness really helped my daughter who was having a bad day.

Wasn't terrible i had to tip the lady $5 so she would make my milk shakes as advertised . They didn't have whipcream until I gave her 5 extra$ do it was ab813$ plus my 5$ and I lived 30mins away so an hour of driving sucked

Everything I specifically asked to NOT be on my burger was on it. AND THE QUALITY OF INGREDIENTS WAS AWFUL. Onion included skin! Lettuce was half ‘core’ and too tough to tear with my teeth. Medium fries was only HALF full and the fries themselves were limp, full of old grease, and stone cold. The only thing ok was the coke, which I served myself. I usually check an order before leaving for home, but they put the paper bag with food in it INSIDE a sealed plastic “carry” bag that had to be cut to open

Why are u closed on Friday nite. Next to movie theaters and opening nite for John wick 4 and they are closed. If u don’t want to serve cysts except to do one at a time then shut this place down and let a real restaurant open up. Louisville don’t need Steak ‘n Shake anymore. There are plenty of other places next door that are open for business and they don’t have drive thru. Sounds like u all are just plain lazy.

Despite only being open 45 minutes, the restaurant wasn't clean. The kiosk ordering was different and getting someone to get condiments seemd to be a bother. I gave them 3 stars because I love their French fries and the burgers and milkshakes were good.

Went and waited well over thirty minutes, ended up leaving. No ketchup in the dispensers, no one would come if you were standing there trying to ask for something. Now that it is all self severed there, you barely saw an employee. There is no one at the counter in case you do need something. Very dirty in side too, I understand lunch rushes but it was gross.
