Delicious!

Amazing! Was skeptical at first, but the pumpkin pop was like having an iced pumpkin pie on a stick! Delicious! ?

1st time here. Have been hearing about for some time but finally stopped in. Had the Mango Strawberry Pineapple posible. It was pretty good, but a $3.97 per popsicle I think it's slightly more than I'd like to spend on a popsicle. Most likely won't come back, unless they make them bigger.

Delicious and uniquely flavored popsicles! So glad Steel City was recommended to us!

Went there today with 3 children 7,7,&4. We’ve only been to bardstown location so we’re excited this one was close to home. We were the 4th in line. No one was working. There was a sign that said “yes we’re open be back in 5 minutes”. 15 minutes later no one was there taking orders. The line is now 25 or so deep. We left and went to Graeter’s. The Quills coffee shop was hopping and appeared to be well staffed. This location sort of appears geared to adults anyway. The flavors are mostly pretty adult “lavender limonade”. There were no other kids there. Won’t be back for popsicles with the kids but will be back for coffee as the space is cool.

Customer Service was not good at all!

Well this place would be amazing. Expect on multiple occasions the owner/employees will put a sign up that says "be back in five min" and they will be gone for a legit twenty minutes or more. The coffee shop inside says they have no control over this and they do it multiple times a month. They also agreed that its super rude and unprofessional to do.

Very poor experience. Walked in and there was already a couple people in line ahead of my group. There was only one employee and she was not wearing a mask. She saw people in line and continued to wipe several more tables down with airpods in. When she finally came to service, she put on a mask and she was very short. Not necessarily rude or had an attitude just seemed like she did not want to be there. There is a sign at the door that says no mask no entry but this is clearly not enforced, esp with employees!

My daughter and I wished we could get more. Hope to come again next time we’re in town. The people were friendly and helpful. We were transporting our yummy pops a short distance & they provided bags and an ice pack. We snuck a nibble before leaving the venue and then finished them when we were farther along our drive home. They probably shouldn’t have waited as long as we did — even with the ice packs and in our cooler they maybe should sit more than 10-15 min. Enjoyed a chocolate pop dipped in dark chocolate and dredged in almond pieces. And especially loved our buttermilk pop drizzled with raspberry and dusted with cocoa. Also, they had good amount of outdoor seating, social distance markings on the floor, hand gel available, and consistent use of face masks to enable customers to feel safe to take advantage of their treats.

The ice cream there was kind of chewy, and very pricey for something I didn’t really enjoy. I felt like I was chewing paper instead of ice cream.

The kids loved the ice cream bars.

Few things are more refreshing on a hot day than a cold treat. While many may think of ice cream, when a friend recently suggested Steel City as a place to meet up and grab a bite, I was game. I was always a fan of a Fla-Vor-Ice as a kid, and I figured this was the more grown up version of the same treat. As the second location in Louisville (first was on Bardstown Rd), the St Matthews Ave spot doesn't disappoint. Sharing space with a Quills coffee, you'll be able to satisfy whatever craving you have for an afternoon pick-me-up. My friend and I met up and picked our popsicles (Cookies and Cream for me and Pina Colada for her), before wandering to find a shady spot outdoors to enjoy the popsicles. Most tables in the front courtyard (which was admittedly fairly sunny) were already taken, and we had to cross the street to find a place to sit. Regardless, the popsicles hit the spot that afternoon, and enjoyed catching up with the refreshing treat. They're a few notches above the old Fla-Vor-Ice, and every bit as refreshing. If you haven't been to Steel City yet, head over there to help beat the next heat wave!
