I've been to Stitzel Weller twice now, and I can say that it is my favorite spot on the bourbon trail (even better than makers mark). This place oozes history, it's less of a working distillery tour (although there is a micro still that still produces bourbon on site) and more of a love letter to bourbon history. From start to finish we felt very welcome and had an amazing experience. Highly recommend taking the tour and spending time at the Garden and Gun Club. The old fashioned and smoked trout dip are to die for!
Amazing experience!!! First time visiting this historic Louisville spot in the bourbon trail and I cannot express how amazing their team was! Deanna, our bourbon tour guide, was full of energy, passion and information.
