This restaurant has a good selection of appetizers, dishes, wine, and a small beer selection. The steak rolls are a blend of three types of steak ground and fried in a wonton wrapped, which I really enjoyed. The seabass with the lemon capier sauce was a special of the day that was cooked perfectly ?. They also offer some decent bread, they taste like a deep fried cake donut with lout any sugar but are served with a cinnamon butter that is very nice. For desert, I had the carrot cake, which was better than average but nothing that will wow you.

The steak rolls are great, but they just do their best to overcharge and under serve on the amount of meat / tuna... the ahi tuna salad for example comes with a small amount of tuna, some salad greens and avocado and mango, but then a mountain of cheap iceberg lettuce for no reason other than to fill the plate, when it could just be served with a proportionate amount of salad greens and tuna. The price you pay for steak is a bit much, considering you get small cuts of meat. The cost for regular old side items is a bit astronomical as well. The food is good, but I choose other nice restaurants over this one most of the time for these reasons.

Went to stoney river for our anniversary. Waited for our reservation, so we went to the bar for drink. Took a minute to order but that is okay. Server was nice but put salt on my Lemon drop martini rim. Lowkey ruined the whole experience so we left.

Stony River was awesome I would recommend everyone to try this place out in prospect of louisville. Really great food and an awesome scenery. Only problem i had and why i gave 4 stars is my sever was young and i told him specifically what i didnt want on my steak but he proceeded to do so anyway. My bill comes back and he charges me for what i didnt order. His poor tip was short becaause of this immatureness. I will go back just dont give me that server.

Fabulous, A+ experience...food and service. Savanna was our server. I enjoyed French onion soup, wedge salad and filet...oh, and the dessert selections were beyond yummy! I was a cofounder in '96 but this was my 1st opportunity to dine there in decades, still perfect almost 30 years later which is a true testament to leadership excellence!

Great service and excellent food! The deviled eggs appetizer was fantastic! You get 6 halves but I had to eat some before the pic ?

We used to love Stoney River but we had a very disappointing experience. Sat at bar which is our norm. Service was fair. My old fashioned was just fine. We had the spinach dip as an app and it was very bland. I ordered the lobster bisque and it was delicious but the tiny portion of lobster was diced up like minced garlic. My husband had a burger and beer and they were as expected. The carrot cake was excellent!Parking: Located at Paddock Shops and parking is not an issue

This was an excellent restaurant. The restaurant was busy and was clean inside and out, as we could see. We were a party of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our steak and salmon dinners. Everything g was cooked to perfection and all the staff was very accommodating and helpful. Portion sizes were large and we shared with one another. Great restaurant and will visit again when in Louisville.

Tonight we stopped in just for dessert. So I had to share a picture of the colossal carrot cake we shared, enjoyed, and still had plenty of left over to take home. Service is consistently fast and friendly. No drinks tonight but those are usually really great too!

I love Stoney River, the atmosphere is one of the best. The service is always top-notch. Everyone is so polite. I have noticed numerous times with each server I have they truly enjoy their job! Rather I order a salad or a steak, the food is always amazing! And don't forget about the deviled eggs!!!

The atmosphere is great here. Nice and cozy! The service was sub-par. No personality, talked quietly so it was hard to hear, and failed to check in at all really. The food was good but not for the price. For appetizer, we had the spinach dip which was pretty good. For my entree I got the salmon, and it was quality salmon but no real seasoning, just a plop of luke warm sauce. The brocolli was cold and didn't even seam steamed/cooked. The best part was the dessert. We got the chocolate cake, and it is by far hands down the best cake I've ever had.

We had taken both of our sons to the restaurant last Christmas Eve and the service and food was excellent. Took one son there tonight 3/2/24 and he was so excited to order what he had last time. He ordered the medallion steaks and the quality and taste was awful. We also ordered the spinach dip and were brought very stale chips that accompanied the spinach dip. The Parmesan chicken was also not as good as it was last time. Being a rather expensive restaurant we were sure it would be as good. We were wrong and we were very disappointed. Peggy

The serving sizes for the prices are highly out of balance. The food wasn't bad by any means, but it was nothing to write home about. I definitely would recommend that you go to Texas Roadhouse or Outback before here if you want a bang for your buck.
