Swizzle Dinner & Drinks

Celebrated my anniversary there last night and it above and beyond expectations. My server was a joy, Kiesence, thank you for making our special night truly special.

We happened to be in Louisville for my birthday and my partner chose this restaurant as a unique spot for the special occasion. We had a reservation but still had to wait about 15 mins for a table, which ended up being fine - they waited to give us a great booth with a wonderful view of the city as the dining room rotated.

The food was wonderful - we ordered the burrata app which was a bit disappointing, unlike any burrata I've had before, but otherwise, my scallops were cooked perfectly, the chocolate cake dessert is to die for and their wine list can't be beat. I saw one food runner carrying the food out with his thumb fully curved over the edge of the plates - as a longtime server/restaurant worker, that was pretty unsettling (and gross, honestly!) but thankfully he didn't deliver our food.

Most importantly however, our server Christian was an absolute sweetheart; he was attentive but not annoying, friendly but not overly familiar. He and the whole staff made sure our evening was unforgettable and our timing couldn't have been better as we watched the sunset over the river while we enjoyed our meal and celebrated my birthday. Highly recommend!

Amazing steak! After a long day of traveling - the food and atmosphere was just what we needed. Sam crafted the best drink I have ever had! Can’t wait to return.

We had dinner here for our wedding anniversary. 10 out of 10 on the food taste and quality. It seemed a little overpriced, but I think the atmosphere is amazing. I think you are paying a more upscale price for the rotating views. It definitely wasn’t a fast service, but our server was still attentive to us. I definitely recommend the crabcakes. Old fashioned, Steak, Scallops And the banana caramel cheesecake. You can skip the wedge salad. You won’t be missing much without it

Went for an anniversary dinner - we had a great time! Service was really good, the rotating dinning room made for a good experience especially ~730 to get sunset on the river then the night skyline. To me it looked like most tables in that rotating area were good for parties of 2-6 people.

Huge wine selection if you are into that, good variety of food options, bread served to the table. Food overall was solid and well portioned. Considering we got an appetizer, 2 entrees, an extra side, a dessert plus multiple drinks... I thought ~$150 with that ambiance was actually pretty well priced.

I was utterly surprised by Swizzle. The ambiance was amazing. The service was outstanding. The staff alone were incredible. And the food just melts in your mouth! I've lived in Louisville my whole life, and eaten at a lot of nice places, but this was hands down THE BEST. The strip steak and filet mignon just melt in you mouth. Better than Jeff Ruby's. Yeah I said it! And Erdene was our server and he was so friendly! And so polite and so kind to us!!!!! Thank you!!!!

Overall the dining experience was great. I have to admit that the menu on line was not the menu at the restaurant. They should remove the one on line. And their wine list was old and several wines I chose they didn't have.

Sam runs the bar and he is phenomenal!!! Great vibe and a master at his craft! Will definitely visit again when we are in town.

Everything was perfect. The ambience, the view and the service. Food was good. The only problem was the temperature; it was pretty cold that night and I could not take off my jacket.

They made our anniversary one to remember! Our entire meal was fabulous from start to finish! The rotating dining room overlooking the river was beautiful!

Brittany took care of us and did a wonderful job guiding the menu and offering recommendations. She was spot on! The drinks she recommended were amazing, and so was the food. It was such a great experience and we really felt taken care of. Thank you Brittany!!

See review on Trip Advisor....I can't say enough about Robyn for recommending I try this restaurant. She made me the best Old Fashioned and suggested I eat at the Galt's revolving restaurant. Mike gave me the best seat ever. Daniel answered all my menu questiions. The crab cakes were GREAT! The smokey Old Fashioned from Trevon, GREAT. His service was fabulous. Sam also served me when I finished dinner and went to the bar for an after dinner cocktail. Daniel help me decide on dinner. I went with the filet and loved it. First time ever I got a filet actually cooked medium. Jauan... so patient with all my bourbon questions. This whole team was just fantastic. Please go see Robyn in Veranda and when upstairs at Swizzle, ask for this crew! Friendly, good service, knowledgeable. Just can't say enough about my experience.

Service was great Food is wonderful View is amazing But at this price point, you would like to see a bit more something. Numbers on the tables seems a bit dated, table cloths would be nice, silver ware was dull.

It was my birthday. They made me feel very special with a private room table. Steak perfectly prepared as ordered- all cuts, and different variety of apps and sides were phenomenal and unique in taste and flavor as well. Float like a butterfly cocktail had glitter in the bottom.. very nice experience with special people
