Taco N Madres (K brunch)

We stopped here for dinner. I ordered two street tacos, one asada the other chorizo. Both were amazing! I also got the quesadilla with carnitas. It was huge! And tasty!!!! The picture is half of the portion served. I grew up in Southern California, and we had a lot of great Mexican food places, and Tacos N Madres is the best I’ve had since leaving Cali. Thank you!!!

Really tasty and authentic. Not authentic like you get at Senior Frog's in Cancun. Authentic like the people who work there are eating when they're off. Real authentic Mexican food...a.k.a. what I crave.

Family-owned and run. They're using mama's recipes and that lady can cook! Found out after lunch that their special on the day we visited was mama's recipe pork ribs in what looked like a pretty complex sauce. Lesson learned - ask about the daily special when you come here.

About the food. I actually managed to take a few pictures and everything was delicious! I really loved the carne asada and birria but best bite goes to the shrimp queso taco. Like a quesadilla but smaller and with ship covers in a beautifully flavorful sauce.

Such a cozy place to visit with family and friends! The food is incredibly tasty, and the service makes you feel truly welcomed. Do not forget to ask for café de olla!!

The most authentic taco spot on the East side. Love all the tacos, ceviche, and Agua Fresca’s. Order takeout this time or I would’ve posted pictures. If you feel like legit tacos in Quesabirria, this is the spot for you.

Our experience wasn’t as good, my dish was good (green enchiladas) but the other person ordered huevos divorciados, the eggs were not cooked as ordered and it wasn’t prepared as it said in the menu, we asked the server to make it right and he said the best they can do was make the eggs again, after testing to explain that the dish was not done fight we decided to better get a refund to which they said they don’t do refunds and since you pay at the time you order we end up leaving with no refund and a bad service experience.

It's Taco Tuesday!!!! Great place to get street tacos and other things. Several drink options including my favorite Horchata! When you walk in you're transformed into a different culture and vibe for sure. Great local place.

I came here with my friends for the first time, and honestly, it wasn’t worth it.
We all had issues with the food we ordered.
I got the aguachile, and it tasted super salty. They even added Tajín, which I didn’t know people usually put in it (I’m a aguachile fan). The portion was small too I only got about three shrimp. I asked if I could get a refund, but they said no since I had eaten most of it. I just decided to leave it at that instead of arguing.
One of my friends ordered an horchata, and it tasted like medicine. The rumchata wasn’t any better. Another friend ordered tacos, and it took over 30 minutes for them to come out, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all.
Overall is wasn’t a good experience won’t come back.

We have only eaten here on Taco Tuesday with $1.98 street tacos. The husband loves the horchata. Gets it every time we go. We have had every street taco on the menu and love them all. Staff is small and nice. When it starts to pick up, it may take a minute to get the food but it’s freshly made.
Limited seating but there is some small seating outdoors. Parking is sufficient.
