Taquería Los Compadres is a great place with real, authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. The service is fast, and food comes out hot within a reasonable time frame. The spot has hand made tortillas and gorditas. Customers enjoy the pork tamales, burritos, tacos, and sopes with pastor. One visitor had a burrito and red tamales, calling them unreal. The flavor, portion size, service, and prices are beyond excellent, making it a great value. The staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is good. Though it is somewhat of a hole in the wall, it is clean. For authentic Mexican food that hits, this is the spot.
