I would give this place 6 stars if I could! This bakery is an absolute gem - they bake bread and pastries in store, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The egg&cheese variation on koláč was hot, delicious and exactly what I needed on this freezing day! The danish pastry was seriously THE BEST I have ever eaten in the Unites States. Croissant Crunch 😭: I was doing a cross country drive and stopped by The Bakery at Sullivan, Louisville, KY. I was legit flabbergasted at the crunchy sound and “barely fluidic” chocolate coming out of the Pain Au Chocolate. I’m a bad foodie and never knew that chocolate croissants are supposed to be crunchy 😭. I’m not sure if the taste/crunchiness varies by the Chef but that specific day… I was blown away 🫡
