When I tell you me & my co-worker/friendjust now was so happy to have experienced this restaurant, it was so Dayyyum good!! I like Po' boys and get them often, omg there's beat & exceeded my expectations, it had a kick but not too much, seasoning & shrimp Awesome etc. Thank you for blessing us okay!! The inside was so comfy & stylish. Definitely Recommend!!!

We showed up 10 min before they closed between lunch and dinner. My boy Brandon let us weary travelers in and fed us like we've been friends for years! Shrimp po boy was a heaping mound of shrimp and ingredients. Topped with what I would consider the top shelf remoulade sauce fit for royalty! Outstanding! Even without beer or bourbon.

Sadly we were not served after waiting 45 minutes. Not even iced tea. Had to leave to make a boat trip. Wish we could have experienced the food.

My daughter and I were visiting Louisville for a convention. We wanted sushi, but when we got to the sushi restaurant it smelled really bad and my daughter couldn’t handle it. We went next door to The Bayou of Louisiana and had the best fish taco I’ve ever eaten. The coleslaw was absolutely amazing. If we ever visit again we will definitely go back!!

Easily the best Cajun I've had in Louisville! The portions will fill you up! The staff was great, funny and friendly.

My family enjoyed some of the best seafood we have ever had at The Bayou. The staff was amazing as well. Large potions and great food. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits, my husband had the jambalaya which was actually spicy enough for him….he adds hot sauce to everything but did not have to in this just right jambalaya. Plus it was in walking distance to our hotel.

The Hubby has been craving a good Po Boy and this place did not disappoint. We drove an hour to get here and it was well worth the trip. I had the jambalaya and it was the right amount of heat with flavor. Such a great find!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff but seem a little nervous. Jambalaya is delicious, but no cornbread? Louisiana cuisine staple. You're new on the block so all forgiven. Will return.

Ate lunch here with my sisters. Had four meals for less than three meals at another restaurant I won’t mention. The portions were way more than enough. Food was excellent. The fried sweet potato pie sent me over the edge. Delicious. Met the owner and she was so nice. We will definitely be back. I want to try everything on the menu.

Our meals taste great! The waitress was very nice. I met the owner who was very welcoming. Wishing this restaurant nothing but success!
