Excellent service, warm and inviting atmosphere and SUPER DELICIOUS food! Will definitely be back!
Arrived for our 11:30a reservation to an empty restaurant which was our first clue this might be a bad experience. Waited at the entrance for 5 minutes, never saw a single employee or customer. Walked outside to choose another restaurant, still no employee came to the counter. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.
My husband and I met some folks from another state there! We had the absolute best time with them while we were eating! The atmosphere was just beautiful. Of course the food was amazing! However, I am big on service and how it feels in a place. Atmosphere is 👑 KING to me and the FOOD is the STAR ✨! With that combination, how can you go wrong?
First time here today. Blondie and her staff are so nice and accommodating! food was delicious, atmosphere great. I will definitely be back!
Excellent homemade food in a delightful atmosphere. I especially liked the chicken salad which also came with delicious pasta salad. The chili is excellent and went exceptionally well with the cornbread muffins. Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing food! I highly recommend the chicken salad sandwich. Only thing I wish I did was order 2.
I booked though a 3rd party. Unfortunately, the hotel never received it. No worries, as the front desk was accommodating! They gave us a room at a lower price than I booked with the 3rd party! Located across from the Kentucky Fair Grounds, it seemed to be a little sketch. But, wasn’t at all! Great staff, free breakfast (better than most!) and clean rooms! Only issue was the bathroom was in the Queen suite. My wife and I stayed on the pullout and had to tip toe in to the bedroom to use the bathroom, cuz we stayed with family. All in all, great price, location and staff! Close to I-65 too!
Unfriendly vibe and barely any welcome at the front desk upon check in. Had to ask for all information as it was not readily given, as well as water (Titanium Elite). Was assigned a room that was in another building, was not told as the female at the front desk was too buddy with other customers and rushing everything etc. Took the elevator to the wrong block (with luggage), she didn’t inform me where the room was located until I came back downstairs, not good at all. Same thing on check out, unfriendly and arrogant. Last stay at this property, too many choices locally to have to spend my hard earned Marriott loyalty at this place. Find somewhere else.
Affordable option for a larger family with good amenities in the room. Allowed us to check in 2 hours early. Breakfast had a wide selection (cold and hot). Pool was clean and enjoyable on a hot day. Pet friendly if applicable. Staff were uniformly friendly and approachable.
A bottle of water, black coffee, and parfait will set you back $21.It's kind of on me for not paying attention.

The room exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the 2 Bdr suite. It had a living room, full size fridge and oven. The kitchen had the basic utensils, pots and pans to make a quick meal. And 2 Bedrooms with doors. The front desk staff was friendly! I would stay here again with family. Very clean! Close to the airport and convention center. 2 Thumbs up!
The room was alright, but the service was horrendous. No one was ever at the counter and when I went to checkout I got hit with a "early checkout" fee for checking out a day early. I can understand why a hotel would want to do this, but I have traveled for work for the past decade and never been hit with a "early checkout" fee. The fee was $139 too! When I called to ask why I was getting this fee I was told this is standard. When I pointed out that I have never been charged this fee in a decade I was told it was new July 2022. I travel twice a month and never seen this fee before and about 50% checkout a day early because I have finished up work early. I called Marriott corporate and got yelled at by a customer service supervisor that he didn't care that I had been a loyal customer. Needless to say I could never recommend this hotel to anyone from a customer service perspective and now I am reconsidering using Marriott for all my future business travel.
Let's start with the pros: the room was large and had a full kitchen, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There were several concerns though. First, I was on the 2nd floor and the windows weren't locked. Second, there were spider webs on one of the window locks as well as the spider, so clearly they haven't been locked or cleaned for a long time. Third, the room smelled like dog food. Forth, the sheets had holes in them. Lastly, there was something in the shower, (maybe a shelf?) that was propped up on the shower floor. Keep in mind you are next to the airport and you will hear all of the planes. White noise and earplugs will not diminish the noise.
This hotel was amazing from the start. Walking into the lobby, it smelled like cinnamon rolls and caramel. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was a one bedroom suite. It was super clean! Our room was 75 degrees when we arrived, but it cooled down quickly. Water was hot, soap provided smelled great. It worked very nicely for us to be able to cook meals and store additional snacks. Ample room for kids to play. CONS: Nosey roadway next door and the airport, but we’re traveling so it’s expected. Not the greatest hotel bed ever. Outdoor pool.
I have been at Residence Inn due to unfortunate circumstances in my home, the staff has made it a wonderful place to be! I thank the General manager Mark R. and Dakota who is another manager for going out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The continental breakfast is better than I have seen in most hotels. I enjoy the beautiful smiles that help to brighten up my day! You will not be disappointed if you stay here
