Apparently there was a change in ownership, and they don’t honor previously purchased gift cards. Oh well, plenty of other places in town to take my business to.

We drove from Nashville TN because it’s a nostalgic memory for my family, but when getting there we found out they had closed. We checked the time before leaving and on their website it said 7pm but the sign on the door said 5pm. It was 4:40pm when we got there so we had 20 minutes. The door was locked and the staff was cleaning up. We understood but the staff specifically looked at us and ignored us even though they closed earlier than usual. We love their ice cream but hated this interaction.

Ice cream taste is creamy and delicious. Service was good but not warm or welcoming. Stop layout was not inviting at all. Could get crowded quickly.

Visited this location of Comfy Cow when I was in Louisville a couple of weeks ago and noticed they had rave reviews for their vegan ice cream options. I absolutely agree, the Coffee Cookie Crunch (vegan) was some of *the best*, if not the best, vegan ice cream I have had. Absolutely delicious. I'm knocking off one star from my review for service. The employee taking my order was clearly on the phone, on a personal call on her ear buds, which made it confusing to recognize if she was speaking to me, the customers behind me, or the person on her phone call.

The employees that were there clearly hate their jobs, so you already know it was piss poor customer service, felt like a burden to be there buying ice cream. As well as the worst ice cream I've ever had, completely out of vanilla ice cream, chocolate and strawberry (the three most common flavors) so had to get the vastly inferior vegan versions of all three. Worst banana spilt I've had in my life, tasted like trash and ended up throwing most of it away. Waste of money. Feel like I'm being generous in my review. Will not go back after many years as a customer.
