The ice cream is fine. No doubt about it. If a little unimaginative. I usually get the salted caramel with fudge and some sort of nut sprinkled. The flavoring goes from sweet to super sweet. Not a problem if you have a sweet tooth, but if you don’t…The one negative I will ascribe is the flimsy plastic spoon for the ice cream. It’s not strong enough to support eating this confection. It bends when you try to scoop the ice cream into your mouth. Also the environment? Wood spoons, anyone? And the place was a little dirt the last time I went.

Look, ice cream is an easy win. People love it. From a customer's perspective, all the momentum is with anyone selling it. It's like directing traffic through a green light. But somehow, these guys seemed bent on complicating the fun and just leaving me and my family with an 'I scream for ice cream smile.' No quarrel with product quality, but again-green light. The quarrel is with the guy who seemed determined to be 'right' at two critical junctures rather than just helping me get what I wanted. My family of four was in town for a birthday weekend and thought some ice cream would be nice, so we dropped by and ordered a waffle cone with two dips for my daughter, a milkshake for me son, and a piece of love shack pie for my wife. I examined the menu and ordered what they termed a 'large' cone-a triple scoop with three different flavors. Something I've done maybe 300 times in my 61 years at ice cream shops pretty much everywhere in the country. It's a typically hefty treat. But this guy looks at me and says, 'Oh, you want a flight.' 'Okay,' I say, 'If that's what you guys call it, but I just want a triple scoop, large cone like up there,' as I motion to the menu board. The guy goes, 'Yeah, that's a flight.' And he hands me the cone. Maybe 1 or 2 of my 300 historical triples were smaller. This was maybe, on a good day, 6 or 7 ounces of ice cream. And so I gently say something about the scoop sizes and this guy, a clearly bright guy apparently accustomed to being right, says to me, the guy with the $28 ice cream order, 'Pretty sure you couldn't fit any more ice cream on there.' And he turns away as if anything else I've got to say is of no importance. Of course, he was not only patently incorrect, as ice cream stacks and compresses wonderfully in customer-concerned hands, but he also came across as a pretty clear dig at me-again, the customer registering mild dissatisfaction with the portion size-for daring to suggest he'd shorted me. So the product was fine, as ice cream pretty much always is, but this wizard of being 'right' sucked the fun right out of the visit. It's a locally owned shop, I'd guess, and I will never NOT tip a foodservice worker well (I did), but I won't encourage a visit here if you have a better Louisville option. We were in town from the St. Louis area and didn't have the option or inclination for an exhaustive search for ice cream, but if I had it to do over again, I'd find a different shop.

Walked up here after a long day. Thought about going to the neighboring Insomnia Cookies, but wanted to keep my money local. I’m so glad I did. The two ladies working the store were so friendly and welcoming to everyone who came in. They asked questions about people’s days, and make great conversation. It’s becoming increasingly rare to find hard working folks with great attitudes. I’ll be back for sure. Great milkshake :)

They didn't seem to have as big of a selection as what I thought based on looking at google and yelp pictures, but that is not why I am giving them a 3 star review. We felt very rushed. We had never been here before and the young lady working was like "what can we do for you" as soon as we walked in the door. There wasn't any other customers there at the time, so I told her we were looking. She looked annoyed. It just wasn't very welcoming at all.

The customer service was great. It was my first time in, did a great job of explaining the menu and going over my options. I was able to get 1.00 off my order with it being my first time. The ice cream was really good

Wide variety of flavors, so that's always nice. My issue is the prices. Way too expensive for ice cream! I purchased two cones with one scoop each and it was 13 dollars! Overall, nothing crazy. If you're not from Louisville, then it's nothing worth stopping for.

Best ice cream and employees in town! Sam and Zyla went above and beyond decorating mini bundle cake for my granddaughter and letting me try samples. I love the new sweet potato pecan souffle they are trying out .The peppermint chocolate is great for the season. Warm and welcoming atmosphere
