I believe we picked all the dishes that were or can be vegan. Generous portions. Hummus with fresh cut carrots. Lentil soup was so good. The shawarma wrap comes with aioli so we requested to sub the sauce out. entrees come with 2 sides... we had so much food! Casual nice sized dining area and street parking.

Great food! reminds me of some of the places I grew up with in Northern NJ. Also, to the previous review about the person complaining about no alcohol, its a Mediterranean restaurant pal, you wont find any of them with liquor licenses

We’ve been to The Grape Leaf many times and always enjoy the food. On this visit, I had the lamb biryani with lentil soup—spiced beautifully with plenty of lamb and saffron rice—and we paired it with Turkish coffee, which complemented the meal perfectly. This place never disappoints! The service is always good, and the food is always hot, delicious, and flavorful! I usually get the lentil soup or falafel sandwich. The chicken sumac is great, too. Their coffee is bold and pairs well with their dessert options. This is a great place to eat with options for everyone, and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

My favorite food is their babronia, which is a combination of beans and veggies in a red sauce with spices. It tastes so good, and you cannot get it anywhere else. I also like their baba ghanoush and their grape leaves. Mmm!!! Their Greek salad is also my favorite, but I forgot to take a picture of it on my recent visit, because I ate it so quickly. Lol. The waiter we had forgot to bring our silverware and plates for appetizers, on our previous visit. He apologized, and gave some silverware after our food had arrived...he said they were quite busy, but we were one table out of about 5 other tables inside. :/ One thing my family did NOT like was the sauce that came with the samosa appetizers. It tasted like Kraft honey mustard from the store.
