First timers. Went in to check it out. We were so excited about the things they offered online food and drink wise. When we asked for a menu, right away the server snapped at us about them not having any food and that they didn't know how to take the food off the website. If we had been spoke to in any other way we would have been happy trying out new drinks and a new spot regardless of food.

‍ a delightful oasis in downtown Louisville. Tiki drinks are made with both love and joy, and include classics and house specialties - as well as occasional special menus. The space sprawls into a back room and large patio, seating many more people than one might guess. We were fortunate to be there on a night when the gifted Cedric was DJ ing and if there's a way to show up when he is choosing the music, I heartily suggest doing so. Note: if you enter and don't see a bartender, continue to the patio and you'll likely find someone there. This is definitely a welcoming space, and the welcome was wide and enthusiastic for everyone we saw enter. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

They are going for a Trader Vic's vibe here, and they do a pretty good job.Drinks are all super sweet, but the bartender is willing to adjust them to taste. Love the little toys that come with the drinks.Service is a little slow, but they are trying.

Probably pretty nice. Though, I wouldn't know because the doors were locked during posted business hours. Went down the street to META which was awesome.Edit: Google and their website say they're open 7 days a week but their Instagram says they're closed Sunday and Monday....so mystery solved there. Went back the next day and the decor and atmosphere were nice. Drinks left something to be desired. Got a Mai Tai that tasted like Hi-c fruit punch. From what I could put together the bartender was either new or subbing for the regular bartender because she didn't seem that familiar with the menu or bartending in general. We'll try to swing by again to give it another shot.

I've never ordered a threesome or a foursome off a menu... and I still haven't. I love tiki bars and I've frequented the Limbo many times before. Last night probably wasn't my favorite experience, but despite a bartender who wasn't having the best night and an unusually unsocial crowd, the drinks were still delicious and the vibe is still very cool and a refreshing change from the sh*t show that is 4th Street Live (note the limbo is a long block south). I'll definitely return!

Visited this place a few times and was not impressed. Drinks were so weak I felt like I was getting ripped off every time. Staff ignores patrons and the place did not feel safe at all. Don't waste your money here.

The drinks were so yummy!!! Beautiful space, lots of personal touches, and great music. Our bartender was so inviting. She also wore a lot of glitter which was so fun! We had a great time. Limbo was our favorite bar in louisville during our visit :)

Came for a burlesque show but it was cancelled. The bartender was friendly and made great cocktails. The overall vibe was off though - we walked in expecting a genuine tiki bar and discovered silence. However, the bartender wound up playing a variety of new wave music. The back patio could use speakers though.

One of the female bartenders loves to shitpost and spam Tider. I would avoid going here because of her, she also loves to argue and contradict herself. Prime real estate for bad business. Since alcohol is sold here she more likely to get customers riled up and fighting with lewd offline behavior.

Amazing atmosphere both inside and out on the patio, the themed decorations are cool, they have VERY fun events if you're into (*ahem*) certain things, and absolutely amazing human beings make really fancy drinks there.

Bought tickets for a burlesque show. The venue was packed and too small to accommodate the crowd. We ended up spilling off in a side room. While disappointed, we were enjoying the cool tiki drinks. We were politely asked to quiet down, as we were loudly laughing. The employee was very kind, but I've never been told to quiet down in a bar before. Fantastic atmosphere and great show options. Sure wish there was room to enjoy it. Will not be back.

To the bartender in the Captains hat... thanks for securing burritos and beverages for my friend and I last night. We desperately needed sustenance and were weary from our travels. Good looking out and great spot!

Downtown location is great, unique mixology makes for fun drinks to enjoy in an either indoor/outdoor setting. The only reason I give 3/5 because the decor reminds me of an island hut/college dorm that needs elevated (interesting and fun decor don't get me wrong) as well as guests having a "few too many" making me be more aware of my surroundings vs able to relax some at a local joint. Overall, knew about the place bc the owner had some fantastic drink reviews. Drinks did not disappoint.

Came here before a show at Louisville Palace. Friendly staff, unique drinks, and great atmosphere.

Liked the atmosphere, isn't a typical place in the winter time. They have a closed in privacy fence attached to the building, pinball in their back room. (Couldn't tell you how much it was... sorry.)And they make their drinks pretty strong. Depends on who is bartending..It is a very tropical drink menu, which is not a bad thing. The Hurricane wad my go to. ?
