My review is based on overall experience. The Mellwood is almost always a live music situation. The crowd has a strong local following, and the vibe is like a Dead show on a good night. It can be really fun if that's your thing. It's mine so I give it five stars! lol

Great bar. Hadn't been in years. Stopped in for karaoke on a whim. Loved the laid back attitude of the singers and other patrons. Burger and fries was top notch. Staff was friendly and we didn't feel like outsiders at all. Will be back for sure.
