Not really sure what all the hype is about this place. A bar. In a hotel. That serves a lot of different pricey bourbons. I have no idea what people are talking about this place feeling like the roaring 20s or Gatsby-esque. Look at my pics. It’s just another bar. Nothing wrong with that. Staff were great, went with bourbon flight Michters, enjoyed my short visit here.
We stopped in to check out the history of this grand hotel and decided to have a drink. Tamara was fantastic! She made my husband an Old Fashion and me a Minted Gold and they were fantastic! She was so kind to get someone to let us in the Oak Room upstairs to see where Al Capone played poker. Everyone at the hotel was so gracious to let visitors look around and take photos. It is a beautiful bar with so many bottles of bourbon!!!
