The Village Anchor Reviews
For my sons birthday, Jacob Withrow ,he wanted family to meet at the Village Anchor (10 of us ) We all have been raving over how good the food was after we left there yesterday. I ate at The Village Anchor with my family tonight, party of 5, for Mother’s Day dinner. My wife and I have been to the restaurant several times in the past and were expecting an extraordinary experience with our adult children tonight. However, tonight we were sorely disappointed. The Village Anchor offers a pleasant dining experience with excellent service. The chili wontons and salmon couscous are standout dishes, while the salmon over risotto and fish and chips are also enjoyable. The cocktails, particularly the blackberry old fashioned, are highly recommended. The restaurant has a patio with good ventilation, and on Wednesdays, there is half-price wine.
Customers praise the food for its quality and timely serving. The fried chicken entrée is especially well-liked, with one person calling it the best they've had at any restaurant. The staff is generally attentive and friendly; one server was noted for being particularly kind and attentive, making special occasions feel even more memorable. The outdoor patio, especially the covered section, provides a comfortable setting with heaters for cooler evenings. Overall, The Village Anchor is a great spot for celebrations or a splurge meal.
