Food was decent, got the basil fried rice just to dip my toe into their food scene. Fried rice was decent, wanted a little more spice and basil. Service was okay, server never came back to ask about refills or even ask about experience/offer to go boxes, we had to ask for everything. Also wasn’t busy at all so was shocked by that. The atmosphere was very cute though, I loved the decor and ambiance.

I don’t think I’ve had better pad Thai anywhere my entire life. Don’t be shy about menu suggestions, you will not be disappointed. Wonderful service, great atmosphere, even better authentic Thai food made to order. P.S. ask about a special desert available only in August!

This is a Clifton gem. The food is always delicious. Since it’s so hot, last night, we ordered the Papaya Salad and Thai dumplings for appetizers. We split the 3 Flavor Duck with medium spice. It was phenomenal. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to eat delicious Thai food!

Good food and good spice balance levels. Service was alright, and the ambiance was pretty comfortable as well. Not super easy parking options.

I almost never write reviews but my pad Thai was so disappointing. Just a mass of oily noodles with a tiny few bits of green onion. Barely edible. :( My dining companions enjoyed their food but found it too spicy, even though one ordered a spice level two out of five and the other a three.

So good.

Tarn provided us with excellent service. Very friendly and helped guide us to our delicious selections.

Moneybags as our appetizer was thhe perfect start.
(Fried wontons stuffed with chicken, peanuts, onion, cilantro, and carrots. Served with a house-made peach sauce.)

My dish: Pad Kee Mao with tofu (drunken noodle)
Stir-fried flat rice noodles with egg, bell pepper, carrot, onion, tomato, and basil leaves in a house-made brown sauce
So good!!! I ordered it to be a little more spicy. I don't think it needed it, but the flavor was incredible.

His dish: Thai basil sauce with chicken.
Basil leaves, onion, carrot, bell pepper, tomato, bamboo shoot, and string bean sauteed in a fresh basil sauce.
He said next time he'd probably get fried rice instead of white. Definitely a spicy dish. The fresh basil sauce was incredible. Very light and flavorful.

Parking: The atmosphere was an open, lovely space. If we were local to Louisville, we'd return.
Prices were very resonable. We spent $45 on an appetizer, 2 meals, and a Diet Pepsi.
Street parking. Good luck on a Saturday afternoon.

Our go to for our shop lunch since it's hard to get good Chinese anywhere. (We switched to Thai for actual flavor) Fast carryout and always the correct order with good spice. Thank you.

A Hidden Thai Gem Worth the Drive

I was recommended this place by a friend, so we made the 1.5-hour drive from Cincinnati to check it out. Given the distance, my expectations were high—but this place did not disappoint.

Cozy Atmosphere & Personalized Service

From the moment we walked in, the charming back porch garden vibe made me feel like I was stepping into a beloved family home. The walls were adorned with warm, inviting paintings and lush greenery, adding to the cozy, nostalgic ambiance.

Our server—who I believe was the owner—made the experience even more personal and memorable. While she didn’t speak perfect English, she was direct, helpful, and assertive, which actually made ordering easier, especially since it was my first time trying Thai food. She confidently guided us toward four dishes that perfectly suited our tastes.

Standout Dishes
• Red Curry – This dish embodied the bold, tangy, and spicy flavors of Thai cuisine, exactly what I was hoping for. A classic done right!
• Pineapple Curry – Unlike any curry I’ve had before, the sauce was uniquely flavorful and truly set this dish apart.

But the crown jewel? My Masaman Curry—the restaurant’s specialty. I ordered it with both beef and chicken, and from the first bite, it was clear why it’s their signature dish. The pineapple, lime leaves, basil, carrots, and coconut milk blended seamlessly, creating layers of depth and vibrant flavors. I could taste each ingredient individually, yet they came together beautifully in every bite.

The drive was absolutely worth it, and I’d gladly make the trip again just to experience this food. Without a doubt, this was the best Thai curry I’ve had. A must try for any Thai food lover!
