Tinos Taste of Heaven

We are in town for the week and committed to supporting Louisville Black Owned Businesses. We lucked up because she shared that this was their third Saturday being open 🙌🏾. My grits were creamy and served with some delicious catfish. The peach tea was good, but sweet-sweet. My husband liked his salmon croquettes. We both loved the potatoes. We will definitely be back. While they offer true dine in options, note that everything is served in Styrofoam or plastic containers. The service was very welcoming. We will visit again.

Yum yumm YUM!!! This food was so delicious! I went in on Fish Friday, and was not disappointed. The cabbage was so tasty!My pasta salad was flavorful, and my fried white fish was the best I ever had! No exaggeration. I will for sure be back.

+ much love to the young lady that was working the front. She was so kind and professional. Very helpful with all the customers.

Food was delicious, scrumptious, seasoned to perfection, fresh, hot, and beautifully presented!!!
The chef/owner leaves virtually nothing to be desired by patrons except to wonder when this business will be replicated in other cities (!?!).

Family run, and service was great!! Wonderful location with convenient parking.

Lord-willing, each visit to Louisville will include either a dine in or to go experience now that we’ve located such an awesome restaurant.

There are two reviews that I have given for this establishment. Google will not let you give more than one review on a business. But I believe in second chances and if I have a better experience I want to be able to share that as well as any past experiences. So Below is my first review and second review.

2nd Review: I believe in putting just as much energy praising a good experience as I do complaining about a bad one!

Over the last week I've had several great experiences at Tino's Taste Of Heaven! Oxtails and grits, ribs baked beans and green beans, and a crescendo with smothered pork chops and dressing with green beans! The staff there is doing their best despite staffing issues and they are apologetic and accountable when they make mistakes which is more than I can say for most! But this week the food and service has been outstanding and they have been most accommodating! Sadly, I may have to step away and take a break from them because it's time for ME to get back focused on healthier eating, but when cheat day comes, I will be back! If you haven't tried them yet, you are missing out!

1st Review: The food is delicious and they take pride in the cooking.

However, the service is abysmal and they do not take pride in it. Lack of attention to their customers, causes tickets to be wrong. You have to repeat your order multiple times, because the order taker is engaging inside conversations or just not paying attention. It is just not a smooth and organized process. Also, they State they will be open at one time, and begin serving food at another time, but food service actually wasn't ready until 30 minutes after the given time. They open at 12:00 but you can't get your food until 1:00 p.m. even though they said food would be ready at 12:30.

They care that their food is good, and it is. But I do not believe they care about the other aspect of your experience, the service.

An amazing Turkey club! Perfectly dressed. Seasoned. Can’t wait to have it again. Sandwich and chips for $10. Good lunch spot.

Ordered at let’s say 2:40pm, beautiful Friday and decided to try the Fish Friday deal. Drove 20 minutes, to the freshest plate I have ever had. Sides to the bread and fish were fresh hot and flavorful like no other. The juice, no words just 10/10. Do not hesitate to order and eat this wonderful food.

I had the deep fried turkey yesterday with dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy and the greens. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! Washed it down with cold strawberry lemonade. This place has amazing lunch and I’ll be back!

We had a great experience here today. The food was on point. The portions were very large (I shared a plate with my husband). The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful. They even gave us bottles of water free since we didn't order a drink. I highly recommend this place for it's food and friendly service.

I've had food from there twice. I've been there at least 5 times for takeout orders. Four times they've closed earlier than their 6pm posting. I went today for a takeout,and of course the employee was walking to the door to lock it. The time was 3:45, is it me or what?
The food is tasty but their business ethics SUCK.
I'm done with going to pick up anything.

The food was amazing, I ordered salmon croquettes fried potatoes and onions and green beans and a side of great northern beans. Everything was cooked to perfection, I'm definitely coming back again and again and again.

I don't know about anybody else,but I came in here today and had the best cheeseburger and fried potatoes I ever had!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
