I had the deep fried turkey yesterday with dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy and the greens. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! Washed it down with cold strawberry lemonade. This place has amazing lunch and I’ll be back!

Very disappointed. The cashier charges whatever she wants. Not consistent at all. Ordered chicken and dressing. Chicken tastes unwashed. Won't be back.

I went in on Sunday afternoon for lunch for the first time. The minute I walked in the door I felt the atmosphere of home. The customers sitting down were friendly and helpful, the staff were exceptional. The wait was a bit long, but the homemade menu stated that, and, even though the prices LOOKED a little steep, the food was amazing. My friend and I sampled each other’s orders and I can’t wait to come back and try some (all) of the other menu items. Well worth the time. The quality and portions were super. We needed the extra bags to take home what couldn’t be eaten in one sitting. I give it a lot more stars than they provide, in EVERY category.

Food is good overall usually. But the ribs I had last time this past Easter (03/31/24) were dry and tough, which they aren’t usually. They also weren’t broken up into pieces, it was just a whole slab with no sauce. It took a whole week to write this because I didn’t realize the difference in the presentation of meals until I seen a picture of the same kind of meal (ribs with the same sides I ordered) on the companies facebook page. And it looked way better. I inserted what I expected below. I don’t have a picture of my actual meal just because I was that mad and didn’t even want to do all that. This isn’t hate, just slight disappointment. Thought it would be like it usually is but I didn’t even enjoy my plate fully this time, only ate the sides.

The food is really good. But the customer service is not the best. I’ve been maybe 5 times and almost each time, the cashier was doing something else so did not take my order in a timely manner. Also, the business hours are limited and there’s been a time or two they were not open but their business hours on the door says they are open. Also, menu changes, hard to keep up unless you physically go in to see what they are serving for the day (especially desserts). Anyhow, they really have good food, just need to make some changes!

Another soul food spot in Town. The smoothed pork chops is the best in town. (Or when I went they were). Mac and cheese I can do without. Dressing was good. Cornbread thing wasn’t good. Greens are good. They are really slow and might have been unorganized a bit so go with time on ya hands.

1st time,fantastic! 2nd time.,they were closed... It was a sign. 3rd time I went food was horrific... I don't know how this can be only thing good was sweet potatoes...a shame, has to be this piss poor work ethic of someone born after 1995 that is now supposedly apart of this new day n age workforce.... Whoever cooked the food the 1st time I ate there did not cook this day... Will never spend the money I spent on that last meal here again... I can't afford hit n miss... Sweet potatoes...awesome same person cooking them...smhReally...personal attack... never had an issue with service, nor how long it took ?. Been in customer service for over 20yrs.. Something's are worth sacrificing... As good as the food was the 1st time, did not and would have never mentioned anything about it.. The first time I ordered brisket, dressing, sweet potatoes, & Mac cheese. 2nd visit smothered PC (tough), dressing ?, same face for macncheese.As I stated I don't know who you have cooking but I was warned by a patron that works near there and told me (after I bragged about how much I loved it) yaw was kinda hot n miss for them... is how I felt when they said this...Now it's a shame that when you leave an honest review, you're accused of attacking someone ?, this is a review ? of MY experience, nothing more. BTW, the dressing, the mistake made with it wasn't a mistake a tenured dressing maker, makes... I'm jus saying, it was wrong, whoever made it that day never made it before...Maybe after the holidays I try again if I see some better reviews...

We were visiting for a basketball tournament and wanted some good soul food. Pulled up looking for a restaurant that was supposed to be in area. Never found it and walked into Tinos taste of heaven and it was Awsome.
