Chef Carlie crushed it for a customer event I hosted at The Craftery. To be honest, when she sent the menu there were some things I had an impulse to change, BUT then I remembered she’s the professional and I gave her very clear directions on what I wanted. A graze board, but elevated, for foodies. Boy was I glad I didn’t mess with anything because the spread was absolutely phenomenal! Not only was it gorgeous but every item was incredibly yummy! Get the creme brûlée spread.

I can’t say enough good things about True North! They catered our 2024 wedding and were an absolute dream to work with. My type A couples, even you will be stumped by their attention to detail and thought Cathy and the team puts into your event. They answered every question I had throughout the process, helped us make the best menu for our budget, and everything was delicious! Our guests were so impressed with the pretzel display and grazing table we got for apps and they kept asking how the caterer made something like boring wedding food taste anything but boring. They were also on top of set-up and clean-up and even sent us home with snacks after the wedding. It was everything we could have asked for and more! We love True North!

True North Catering provided a lovely menu, food, and service for recent celebration of life I hosted. I worked directly with Cathy, who immediately understood I'd never used a caterer before and was so patient in answering my questions, anticipating my needs, and being so genuinely warm and understanding of the emotional situation I was in (hosting an event even though I am grieving). The food was beautiful and delicious, and Cathy really stepped up for me the evening of the event. I was running behind due to some issues with AV equipment and had to run home to get dressed even as guests were about to arrive. She assured me she'd be there to greet people and hold the fort, so to speak, until I returned to the venue. Fortunately I was only a few moments late, but when I got there, some of the initial guests were already being served and made to feel welcome. Talk about going over and above. She also moved about the evening gracefully and pleasantly, keeping the hospitality under superb control so that I could try to just be present for my event. Afterwards, she was only too helpful with cleanup. I can't recommend True North enough and although I hope the next event I'd need help with could be a little happier, I know I couldn't find anyone better than the wonderful women at True North Catering. Thank you from my heart.

My husband and I had an all vegan wedding. I was so nervous that my family and friends wouldn't like it (even though it was OBVIOUSLY delicious at our tasting) but we had almost NOTHING left over. Many people went up for seconds and thirds and were running to the kitchen to pay their compliments and ask for recipes. Couldn't have asked for better service or food. We are so glad for the minimal leftovers we have!! Absolute pleasure to work with them.

I just attended a lunch that was catered by True North. I chose the salad with pickled fennel, mixed greens and black pepper grain salad. It came with a grapefruit vinaigrette. I don't do many reviews but this salad was one of the best I have ever eaten! Absolutely delicious!

Working with True North Catering was a dream! I came to Carlie with a semi-unconventional idea- a hot fry bar (my partner loves fries) & charcuterie board grazing table for my mid size (<75) wedding. I figured the fry bar was too odd a request but they took it and ran with it! They created a few different types of fries with amazing dipping sauces. They brainstormed equipment to keep them hot and fresh. It was a hit at the wedding! The charcuterie board was beautiful and unique and delicious. True North also did our cake, and we’re still talking about it weeks later! It was so flavorful and beautiful. We did a tri-level, 2 parts strawberry with strawberry purée, 1 part lavender with lemon curd purée. Carlie answered my million questions and was so helpful through the process. I highly recommend True North Catering!
