Same diner vibes as always with elevated food quality and a Latin twist. The pupusas were incredible. My kids got to eat breakfast for dinner all for a reasonable price after an exhausting workday. So very pleased and impressed.

I gave 4 stars because my husband's chicken fried steak had a grainy texture. I had the waffle breakfast with two sausage patties and eggs. I also ordered a bowl of fruit on the side. It was good. I would say the experience was average.

I have not been to the Twig in years no reason not to been back. But I went back today an I can tell you it will not be long before I'm back. I had a breakfast platter . Every thing was cooked to perfection. Eggs an country ham were cooked just right. But the tatter tots were out of this world. There crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. I wish they were over on Frankfort ave. Great place to eat the people were really nice an polite. Nice to set in a clean place and have a really nice breakfast. Thanks to all the employees.
Got delivery through DoorDash. I appreciate everything arrived as ordered. ? Gravy was flavorful. The country fried steak is a bit thicker so the meat to breading ratio is pleasantly higher. Could have used a couple packets of butter in the bag for the toasts, though. They weren't buttered.

Decided to come back and try this place again and now that it has a new owner and menu it's definitely going to become a go to restaurant for us. Had the tacos, torta and cheeseburger tonight and all of us left really happy with the meals and service

Nice change at night to be able to sample a Guatemalan take on certain favorites seen as Mexian food, like tacos and burritos. You can even get Pupusas a small dish that declares the authentic nature of the food and taste cultural influence. It is like finding a small neighborhood family style restaurant during your travels in Guatemala or Mexico or any Latin American country where the food is direct flavorful and tasty.
Having been several times to try the various menu items so as to explore the flavors and tastes that are brought to play in the various familiar names meals with some new dishes I have tasted in travels to Mexico and Latin America.
The service has been fantastic and energetic yet nicely friendly.
