My husband and I went here for the first time last night for his birthday. This place truly impressed both of us. The restaurant was cozy and had live jazz style music. The service was lovely and all of the food was outstanding! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic dining experience! First time there and would definitely go again. Went for my husband's birthday and they had a little “Happy Birthday” placement on the table along with some rose petals. They played happy birthday on the guitar when they delivered his dessert. It was absolutely fabulous.
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner last night at Varanese. The food, service, music and atmosphere could not be topped. They are running a special lent menu that we took advantage of and what a great choice! A true gem in Louisville.

The food was excellent. Our service was very slow. Our server initially came to our table quickly to take our drink order while our dates were parking the car. After that our server didnt return for quite a while. Our food took quite some time to arrive although once it did everyone agreed it was excellent. I would go back and hopefully the service would be improved

This is my husband's favorite restaurant and it's easy to see why. The food is superb and the service is outstanding. We've never had a bad meal or poor service. The perfect spot for date night.
