This is my daughter's FAVORITE spot for birria. We celebrated her 14th birthday here yesterday (because they are closed on Mondays). Food and service is always great! The vibe is always viking as well.

We came in a large group and there were some seating issues for our group of 11. The service wasn't the best as our server often forgot to check in on us or remove any dishes. The food was the star of the show the portions are huge. I ordered the horchata was okay ans their margaritas were delicious. For food I ordered the birria platter and it did not disappoint, I made a point to try and bite of each item but got full quickly. My platter fed 3 people. My friend ordered a fajita burrito and it was huge! The queso was amazing as well. Despite the lack of attention for service, I will return because the food was so good. Food wise, this place gets 5 stars from me. It is the best birria I have had in a long time.

I want to start this by saying this is our 4th or 5th visit to Veronica’s. The food at Veronica’s is very good. However, tonight’s service and charge was not great. We had a person who did not seat us bring us drinks, etc and when we asked for something else, we were told “I’m not your server.” Could have fooled me. Asked for napkins several times, and we had to ask for silverware. When we got our cheque, we discovered a gratuity charge added even though we’re were a party of 4 split into two bills. Apparently folks will come in and spend a lot of money and leave poor tips. This really rubbed me the wrong way because I’ve never been charged for gratuity in such a small party. I looked at their menu and it states a gratuity charge is added for a party of 5 or more. Felt a little ripped off tbh. Not sure if I’ll be back. It’s good food, but the food isn’t everything and if you treat every customer like they’re going to be cheap, then you’re only going to get cheap customers.

Also didn’t love being seated on the stage with the live performer….

Food is Below Average. Let's start off by stating that I ordered Queso it took forever for it to come the sever was asking to place a order before my Queso hit the table. When it finally came come to find out that's not real Queso! It is straight up process cheese no Queso Blanco they have to be cutting corners on that Not all was bad Carna Asada meat was hot but the rice was as dry as a flat joke! Beans was semi warm I mean I see the reviews but gosh how can you give five stars to a place where your waiter walks around with a Styrofoam cup sipping and can barely hear.... Yea I think I'll stick too Acapulco at least the have fresh warm food and Sangria's.

i was so excited to try veronica’s, but it was overrated. 😞 the birria wasn’t anything special, the margaritas tasted like juice & they were warm despite having ice in them, & the food was cold. our waiter barely spoke to us, let alone check in on us; it took easily over 30mins to order. definitely won’t be back.

Nothing special. I’d recommend I Love Tacos in J-town you’re looking for Birra and El Toro for Mexican in general. Service was terrible- had to find our waitress TWICE and even then she served her friends (who she was laughing and talking with while we were waiting for her) before she came back to us like she said she would. Took forever to get margs but got those before we even got our water. Overall just disappointed because we’ve heard such good things. Also I’d recommend sitting in the main dining so your waitress can’t goof off at the bar.
