When I walked in the restaurant a few of the tables was full of old food that needed to be cleaned and the work station where the food was being cooked was filthy. 2 of the 3 workers was just talking to each other and the other worker was counting money and burning another customer’s sausage on the grill because they forgot to give it to him. These ladies clearly didn’t come to work so I just did them a favor and left.

We walked to waffle house from next door at the hotel to order takeout. It was about 1:30am. They were not busy. We were the only customers. The guy that took our order could barely speak English. We ordered a Angus cheeseburger plate with double hash browns and a sausage, egg, and cheese bowl with gravy. They bagged our food and we went back to the hotel room to eat. My boyfriend opened his container and instead of the breakfast bowl he had an egg sandwich. When I opened my container I noticed there were no double hash browns as soon as I opened the lid. I attempted to call and tell them because we paid extra for the gravy and double hash browns. We paid $27.65 for what we ordered. Definitely wasn't worth the huge price we paid. Pretty sure it was the server's error regarding the wrong food AND the higher price. He probably related the order wrong to the cook.

It's a Waffle House so the food is hot and fresh but nothing outstanding. The atmosphere here though is top notch. The workers were motivated and happy to be there. Service was attentive and speedy.
