This Wendy's is literally the worst in the city. They can not get our order right. Ordered an Asiago rance chicken sandwich, with no lettuce, or tomato. I got a cheese burger with everything on it.....

Extremely slow service. 30 mins in drive thru. Dining room not open. The workers were in no hurry. Only 6 cars in front of me 30 mins. 2 years later 2024 dining room still not open, no sign on door. Do they know Covid lock down is over? lol. This place needs to close and stop embarrassing the Wendy’s brand

I'll say this Wendy's surprised me. I've held the belief that there is no good Wendy's left in Louisville for awhile. Sometimes you get lucky at the Bardstown Rd location, but anything near Preston Hwy is a total bust. This location still has the old building, complete with the sunroom. It is well maintained despite this fact, because the place was very clean, the drink machine worked, and the bathrooms weren't terrible either. Food quality was just right. Burgers were the best you could get, fries were fresh, and nuggets fresh, too. Only thing this location would benefit from is more staff. The drive thru takes priority, so if you go inside to eat you will wait a little longer.
The man who took our order (who was also the cashier) was very combative. Myself, my boyfriend, and his kids went to get lunch. Initially it was your standard wendys experience until we got to the window. The guy told us one price at the speaker and when we rolled up we gave him exact change only to be asked for about 10 dollars more than he first stated. This wouldn't be an issue except for the fact my partner and I were both beyond certain of what he initially said. His reasoning was he had us down for two orders. Never once did we say anything about wanting to split the order, nor did he say anything about a 2nd order when telling us what we owed. When my boyfriend voiced his frustration the guy got animated and was very rude. It was such an uncomfortable situation. After we forked over the extra money he asked for three more dollars on top of that which absolutely floored my boyfriend. His explanation as to why he needed THAT money was a bunch of barely understandable nonsense. When all was said and done he shoved our bag in the car and slammed his window. This was the worst drive through experience I've ever had and that's really saying something. If my boyfriend was giving off karen vibes I could understand the actions but for all intensive purposes we were VERY reasonable.. especially given he asked for about 15 more than the original total with an explanation that made virtually no sense. That guy needs to do a refresher on his math and people skills because damn...

Nugs and fries never disappoint. The fries were the star of the show- hot and fresh. Plus the employees are MVPs for giving us a reasonable number of sauces for 20 nuggets. Top tier fast food!
I live right around the corner and it's always pleasant to go to this Wendy's.The guy that takes our order is funny and nice always a pleasure seeing him.
