We've come to eat lunch a number of times, and I have to change my review. Wicks has to be in the top pizza stops in the Ville. Service, Food, Atmosphere Wicks has it all. Pizza is Excellence, you won't be disappointed you stopped in.

I've been critical of their high prices for pizza in the past, but I've also really come to the conclusion Wicks really does give you the value for the dollar too. The pastas in particular, extremely underrated IMHO. I get the spaghetti and meatballs almost every week, it's that good. The baked lasagna, excellent as well. I actually prefer pasta here than many expensive Italian joints in town. On top of it, I sometimes get extra meatballs or extra spaghetti in my order I suppose as a thanks for the frequent business. Not many places do that anymore. It speaks volumes about the kitchen staff. Far as the pizza, it's still awesome too, albeit among the most expensive in the city along with Bearnos and Wheated. Get the specialty pizzas if you can, you'll save a few bucks.
Only knock I have these days, is the building itself is in dire need of remodeling. It's still the same furniture from 30 years ago when I first started coming in as a bar customer! I'm all for nostalgia, but time comes when you to update the decor after a few decades. It's one of the reasons I never dine in these days. Many people probably don't care though. Really, the service and food are what I care about most, and Wicks is hitting home runs on those!

Love Wick’s. Sometimes the sauce is different and it is sweet and thick and not the typical delicious sauce. That’s the only reason I took a Star away. The staff is always friendly and helpful, atmosphere is fun and nostalgic, but maybe time to part with the old carpets!

I recently visited Wicks Pizza and was absolutely blown away by both the food and the service! Let me start with the pizza—WOW. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. I opted for their pepperoni, (for the kids pleasure) Before and it was hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Every bite was a delight, with just the right balance of flavors and textures.
But what really made my experience stand out was the customer service. There was a small mix-up with my order, and I received the wrong pizza. I was initially a bit disappointed, but when I brought it to the attention of the staff, they handled it with such professionalism and care. They quickly apologized and offered to remake my order right away, even throwing in a small discount for the inconvenience without me even asking. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, making sure I was comfortable and satisfied while I waited. Our server stayed on top of the drinks and checked in frequently enough to not be annoying or leaving us underserved.
When the correct pizza arrived, it was piping hot and absolutely delicious, worth every minute of the wait. Mistakes happen, but the way Wicks Pizza turned the situation around was impressive. They truly care about their customers and go the extra mile to ensure a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for more, and I highly recommend Wicks Pizza to anyone who loves great food and outstanding service! Definitely 5 stars and much appreciated.
