Their actual menu is great. However, they have a strange schedule- really not very friendly to the UofL campus community since they are closed some weekdays and overall have short hours. It's really unfortunate since the only other "coffee shop" option on campus is Starbucks. If you are just there for a quick beverage or snack, what they have isn't very allergy friendly- no gluten free bakery options, lots of sugar in everything, they don't have decaf coffee options. If you have dietary restrictions, this isn't a great spot.

It's okay.it's not bad it's not great. I think sometimes they try too hard with their lunch menu. The cookies are amazing the desserts are good. The coffee's nice, staff is helpful, but the food is just kind of average, well eclectic, but average for that I guess.... It's pretty awesome that it's inside the speed art museum which is a great place to support and visit... I know I'll go back for cookies and coffee but I'll probably skip lunch next time..

THE HUGE CREAM FILLED Pastry CONES WERE FANTASTIC!!!! Didn't try other baked goods but if they were as good as that thing, I WILL come back! the sandwich was extremely high priced. but pretty good. forget the coffee, very small cup, very weak, although u could get free refills. nice service. If the sandwich and coffee had also blown me away I would have given this place a high score. atmosphere was upscale modern, NOT grungy.

What better place than the Wiltshire at the Speed to relax with a good cup of coffee after seeing free art on Sunday. And yes the museum permanent exhibits are free every Sunday to all. It doesn't hurt to patronize the Wiltshire and the Speed by grabbing a snack and/or a beverage while you are there.

The fare is quite imaginative if a little pricey.

After visiting the Speed Museum on a Sunday afternoon, the hubby and I were ready for a late lunch. We had perused Yelp for nearby spots, but after dropping in at the Wiltshire, we decided to stay on site and dine there. I cannot begin to tell you how helpful the staff at the counter was in accommodating my dietary restrictions within the offerings and making additional suggestions. The Wilshire is on the main floor, around the side near the restrooms. The lunch menu for the day is rotating (seasonal) and small, with 3-4 options from which to choose. I opted for the pesto chicken salad and hubby had the steak and eggs. Both were delicious with the outstanding quality of their other locations in Louisville. In addition to the lunch options there were a variety of breakfast sandwiches and mouth-watering baked goods. There was a beverage for any taste including sodas, sparking waters (I was thrilled to see locally-based Phocus, a flavored, caffeinated sparkling water), tea, coffee, and spirits for mixed drinks. After ordering at the counter, your food is brought to your table. The dining area has two walls of floor to ceiling walls that overlook the museum grounds, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. There is a separate entrance for access to the restaurant without a museum visit. If in the area, I encourage checking it out! Parking is available on nearby streets as well as in the museum garage that sits across the road.

At the Speed for the afternoon our group of 4 decided to enjoy a bite at the Wiltshire. Find it on the main floor tucked into the side, near the restrooms. The menu is small but offers a couple of sandwiches, drinks and a lot of sweets. Tables are available to sit and enjoy your meal, as you can't take them into the museum. We split a chicken salad meal which came with a side salad. I could've eaten a bowl of it! The snickerdoodle cookie was also a solid option and we split it amongst 3 people. My kids enjoyed their lime Jarritos and Mexican cola. The service was also friendly - helpful at the counter and someone walks food out to you when ready. Area felt clean and well spaced plus I appreciated the jug of water made available. Great spot to make a pit stop and then wander the Speed until close.

Nice coffee shop with great naked goods. Great for a pause in the middle of your visit

This fantastic art museum is free on sundays, meaning that if you are in the city looking for something to do, it is the best bang for your buck. they also show rare art movies with limited showing regularly

Fascinating museum. This was our second visit. The special exhibition of Isabelle de Borchgrave was incredible.

Isabelle de Borchgrave Exhibit- Fashioning Art from Paper. Life size dresses made from paper, covering 500 years of history from Europe and around the word. Also on special exhibit is Adele and Leonard Leigh’s collection of glass. The story of how they met and the life that led them to Louisville is quite interesting. Along with these two displays are the permanent displays in the museum. Social Distancing and mask are enforced. Tickets sold in advance at a limited number per hour. The exhibits take between 2 and 2 1/2 hours to cover.

Speed has some very interesting exhibits and when we were there, the Warhol exhibit was on display and was very cool. Nicely arranged and lots of information about the pictures and exhibits.

Took my parents to the Speed Museum today to see the Andy Warhol exhibit. Afterward, we enjoyed a casual lunch on a beautiful sunny day. We were able to eat outside which was nice. Due to COVID, options are pretty limited right now (we had to wait for them to have more sandwiches delivered), but we did enjoy a chicken salad sandwich and the smoked pork loin sandwich which included a mixed greens salad and a quinoa side dish. They did have a nice variety of pastries and desserts, which were yummy. Would be a nice spot for Sunday brunch and a day at the museum.

A great array of local and worldwide art. It was interesting to go through the Kentucky art hall and see some of the past time of Kentucky. There is also an Andy Warhol special exhibit currently that has a lot of neat works. I thought the museum was going to be about speed art but its actually named after a man with the name Speed.
