Terrible service, food somewhat expensive for what I bought and arrived in better parts and better food and at an acceptable price
They charged me separately for the 2 contours that are normally included in the plate in other places

My family and I love Yummy Pollo. You can't go wrong with any dish you choose. The chicken is flavorfully and a whole chicken with sides can feed a family of 4. We love to dine in and take out. Both have been easy! The owner is wonderful! Highly recommend!
Dietary restrictions: We are a gluten free, dairy free family and we can find plenty of foods to eat!
Kid-friendliness: We take our toddlers there often. The environment is kid friendly and very clean!

The food here is absolutely delicious. Definitely try all the sauces. The owner came to check on us and gave us a little background on his recipes. Very friendly staff and overall great experience.

This is one of those little hole-in-the-wall joints that doesn't look like much, and it's cramped inside, but my gosh the food is so tasty! It is not dissimilar from Carali's, but it's a variation on a similar thing. Think unassociated Chinese take out places.
I love going to Yummy Pollo and seeing all those chickens turning over the coals. I never had a side item there that I did not like. I really don't think anyone does rotisserie chicken quite like the Peruvians. Please try Yummy Pollo at least once. I don't think you'll be sorry.

Came here on a day trip to KY and wow what an amazing place to eat. The food was so good, the chicken was fresh and falling off the bone, the sides were delish, our favorite was the fried YUCA!
Also, the gentlemen that took our order was very knowledgeable and patient and answered any questions we had about the food.
You definitely need to try this place 5 stars all the way.

Best Peruvian Chicken in Louisville. Sauces were great, and the Cilantro rice was delicious. Owner and his staff are fantastic. Highly recommend stop for food lovers of this style.

Update: Bummed to see their prices have increased tremendously. It is a better value to go to Carali’s Chicken but wishing good luck to Yummy Pollo.
It’s good for a quick lunch. The chicken is delicious and the owner is very friendly! But the side dishes are just OK. The fries sit under a heat lamp so they’re not fresh, the steamed veggies taste like the frozen kind you buy bagged in the store, and the green beans taste like they’re canned. If you’re in the area and looking for a quick lunch, then I recommend it. It’s not a dinner type of place though. The interior is no frills.

First and last time going to this restaurant. The cashier seemed more preoccupied with his cellphone. I got there when they first opened. I got the rice it's was dry and no seasoning. The chicken was ok. This meal was not worth $20. 8

Incredible. Ordered half white with yuca fries and chickpeas. Delicious. Exceptional customer service, amazing flavor and cook on the chicken. Sauces somehow make it even better. 6 stars.

The food was amazing! The menu is limited but they focus on making a few items better than anywhere else. Staff members and the owner welcome everyone in and explain their menu and how the meal options work. The pride in food preparation is evident and you can try samples before ordering! DO NOT MISS the Alfajores - delicious!!

Absolutely the best of the charcoal rotisserie chicken I've ever had. The sides are just as amazing, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner goes out of his way to make the experience as great as possible. The location may be out of the way for some, but I promise it's well worth the trip for a lunch that's hard to beat. The dark meat with brown rice and coleslaw hits the spot! The sauces are also outstanding.
