This is such a cute store, they have a ton of different flavors of tea to choose from. I got the Lavender Shortbread and a sleepy tea. Both teas were really fun to drink. I really love the peppermint flavor that's in the sleepy tea! I would love to go back and purchase more.

I recently visited another tea shop and this one. This one has so many teas to sample, and purchase by the ounce. Knowledgeable staff is important. When I asked questions at the other place I was told they don’t drink tea ?This store also sells so many tea items for the newbie along with experienced.Definitely best spot in Louisville for tea

My favorite local tea business! They carry my favorite tea ever (lavender shortbread) and many other delicious blends. The staff has been helpful and kind the times I've visited. They also have many tea-lovers gifts to browse and Louisville merch. I'll keep coming back to support them for sure!
My husband found this gorgeous hidden jem while going to the jewelry shop next door. He knows how much I love tea and took me on a date here, i bought so much tea samples (7-8 sample bags), a larger bag of sakura tea (which i recommend) and a 2 large matcha lemonade to go! (Also highly highly recommended) I think we spent about $80 (this includes the tip we left), so this is definitely worth it considering how much we got. This is my new favorite spot, and I look forward to stopping by every week after my day at work! The tea samples we had and the ones I took home smelled and tasted amazing!!! The nice lady in the store was so sweet it's nice that they put out the tea leaves that correspond to the tea bags and give you samples before you buy. I can't wait to become a regular here

Awesome little tea shop. So many tea flavors, strengths & styles. You name it, I'm sure they can make it. The girl working was happy to help explain any questions & even recommended a few of her favorite flavors. I loved all the extra things they have you can buy. Especially the good quality tea kettles & matcha. My favorite. I chose the key lime iced & it was so smooth & refreshing. They have a good summer menu. She mentioned you can go in & sample any teas you'd like. So that was cool. They have a little space for people to sit down & sample. I will definitely go back for some goodies & a cup of tea :)

This place is such a hidden gem! I am a firm beliver that herbs have healing. Every tea mix here serves a purpose! My favorites are the ginger pur-rea, the awaken detox tea and womens wellness. They also sell a blueberry matcha that is amazing! This place is a must try!

Always a 10/10 experience. Reasonably priced and a huge selection of teas. I've been going here for over a decade. I have never once had a bad experience. Sarah and Sophia are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They always have a ready smile and kind word to impart, making the atmosphere as magical and pleasant as their decor. (Which they do themselves seasonally.)

Recently switched from drinking coffee to tea, after visiting Little Mount Lavender (hang tight I'm getting there), where I bought a bag of tea to try and loved it. Searched Yelp for tea shops and found Louisville Tea Company. I went in for an education to see what different varieties and effects they have, taste etc. and left with five different teas and a tea steeper. They have a sampler option where one may choose different teas for a very reasonable price. The lady working the counter was lovely and provided a much needed education on teas as I had little knowledge and experience (other than iced tea and standard tea bags).They provide a free daily sample and have different accessories that can be purchased for brewing or steeping tea! I like it STEEP! My new motto. Shut up, it will be yours as well after visiting. I've been back twice since the initial visit and continue to try different varieties. Everyone working on the days I visited were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. On my last visit, I was looking for something I could take to work so that I can brew tea during the day while in the office. I had picked out a cylinder tea steeper and the lovely lady working the counter suggested these bags that you can pre-fill with looseleaf tea of your own previously purchased variety. PERFECT! Take what you want each day, brew and dispose. Such a helpful and perfect suggestion!I'm now off all sleep medication using tea to help me sleep and stay calm. If I'm feeling a little anxious I drink tea. When it's bedtime I drink tea. When I wake up I drink tea. Three to four times during the day I drink tea. Yeah yeah I know, it's an obsession. Visit Louisville Tea Company and it will be yours as well! STEEP ON IT!
