We stayed at some cabins in the area and were so pleasantly surprised to find a German-style restaurant nearby. I ordered the jager schnitzel and it was a treat! The only thing that would have made it better would have been a german beer to go along with it, but it's a dry county unfortunately so not an option.

Quaint place with an interesting story about the German couple who founded it. However, the single server covering the entire dining room was overwhelmed for lunch when we came, so it took a while for our food to come.
$6.49 for a fish sandwich and $13.99 for the cod dinner with 2 small pieces of fish.

You can tell the ower has put heart and soul into the cafe! My daughter and I got a ruban. My child doesn't like sauerkraut and she ate every bit of her sandwich. It was by far the best I have ever had! Our dog was welcome on the back porch and was given a bowl of ice water. Our party of 6 and a dog was greeted and well taken care of by the waitress. Overall, the whole experience was pleasant and delicious. Would definitely recommend it to all in the area!!!
