“Popped into Lantern Cafe for some ice cream after a two hour Drips and Domes, Mammoth Cave National Park tour. Ice cream was really tasty. A kid next to us had the pretzel, WOW it was as big as his head. Great place for a rest after any cave tour.”

“The Kalst burger was great, and so's the beer. I also tried the whiskey and moonshine, and they've got some good stuff. Not as badly overpriced as most restaurants in national parks, but still a bit spendier than you'll find outside, on the other hand, you can't beat the location.”

“After a day exploring Kentucky Down Under, we hit up El Mazatlan for a late lunch. It was a beautiful day outside, so we chose to eat on the patio. There was a covered portion, but we stayed in the sun to stay warm in the cool spring air. The server sat us immediately and brought us complimentary fresh chips and salsa. We were starving, so we gobbled them up while flipping through the extensive menu. The servers brought us extra chips and salsa while we waited for our food and drinks. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and two steak tacos off the à la carte lunch menu (until 3pm daily). There was a $0.99 upcharge each for grilled vs shredded chicken and carne asada vs ground beef, and it was totally worth it. My daughter ordered two grilled chicken quesadillas as well. And our friends ordered beef nachos and a fajita platter. All of it was delicious, with large portions. I had a couple of house margaritas, which were tasty and a steal at just $5.50 each. My only complaints were that the queso dip was rather small and not worth the $5, and (like most places) they charge way too much for a soda ($3.25). The service was excellent. Our server Juan was friendly and very attentive, and several others checked in on us throughout our meal to ensure we were taken care. I’ll definitely be back the next time I visit Cave City, Hidden River Cave, or Kentucky Down Under.”

“Passed by this place about a thousand times and never thought to stop figured it would be just like any other pizza place my husband and I woke up hungry thinking about wings ordered the bourbon sauced kind and they were phenomenal also ordered a mushroom and pepperoni pizza that tasted amazing the wait time on when it was supposed to be ready was exactly as the time they quoted and the food was the perfect temp 10/10 will be ordering the wings again idk if you can order and side of that sauce but i will definitely be trying lol.”

“My wife and I were traveling through the area on a return trip. The restaurants and pubs are limited in this area. My wife suggested this location and we arrived at 8pm.
We walked into a very clean, well laid out dining and bar area. We were seated immediately and served promptly.
The waitress, bartender and chef all made us feel more than welcome and were very friendly.
The pizza was over the top good and served up hot and fresh! The Long Island iced teas were to die for! Cup of top shelf and super tasty.
They closed at nine today, however, they told us to stay as long as we liked? Seriously….. we finished our dinner at 9:20, 20 minutes after close and never felt rushed….

Note: Oct 21, I bought the super platter and I took a bite out of one of the smaller shrimps, and there was not a good taste to it. I’m not not sure what happened, but I spit it out and threw the rest in the garbage.

Parking: Lots of places to park front and back and on the sides.

Kid-friendliness: Families, welcome kid, friendly got kid dishes.

Wheelchair accessibility: It would be easy to get it out with the wheelchair because they have a ramp in front.”

“Loved it. Service was great! Food was also great. Chips and salsa were good. Queso was also good. I had a ground beef burrito and my wife had a steak fajita. Steak was tender and well seasoned. Burrito was good. We'll definitely go back. Staff was great and attentive.”

“Met a lady at the gas station to buy a quest and the kid that was getting it likes the subway pizza sub so I ordered him one.
Both the younger girls working were super polite and the kid said his pizza sub was a work of art and the best one he's ever had
The girl with the brownish red hair I think,is who made it and she made sure it was made right.
I'm not a huge fan and get the meatball and this pizza sub was one of the best smelling ones I've ever been around.”

“I highly recommend Kristin's Kitchen. Kristin is very cordial. I ordered dinner for 12 and spoke with her by phone. She fulfilled every request and delivered the meal all ready to serve. The food was excellent with ample servings. I will definitely use her again.”

“I found this place by chance on a road trip to Cumberland Falls. The meat was so flavorful, I couldn't add the BBQ sauce. I wanted to savor the meat. The BBQ sauce was so good though I found myself dipping my potato wedges in it. Hash brown Casserole was amazing. It was so good, I stopped again on my way home. I know they're sharing a spot inside a gas station but ya'll I'm telling you, it was fire. Both times. Did I mention me & my adult son ate until full for around $20 bucks? I had pulled pork & he had jumbo Chicken Tenders.”

“I ordered pizza online, walked in 14 minutes later, filled a cup with coke and went to the counter and my pizza was ready. I was promised pizza in 15 minutes when I ordered and that’s exactly how long it took. I got
their supreme, it had plenty of toppings and was excellent as is every pizza I have gotten at CC Casey’s. The two employees I encountered were pleasant, respectful and efficient. Hope they are well paid. As for the atmosphere, 3 stars, only because it’s a convenience store what can I say!”

“The individual who made our milkshakes was very nice. It did take waiting a few minutes to get to the front. But I overall have few complaints. Wish there were more options than milkshakes and ice cream cones, but it's an express, so no major issue.”
