Had really hoped for breakfast, but was a little too late for it. But the kitchen was kind enough to add an egg to my bologna sandwich, which was a happy medium for me. So service was great. Kraut was good too. It's a cute place with a nice backstory. The locals are lucky to have this place.

What a great find in the Mammoth Cave / Lake Nolin area! We stopped for dinner and liked it so much we went back for breakfast two days later. Hard to find authentic German food, especially outside the city. Go, you won't be sorry!

Fun little eatery we stopped at on our way from Mammoth Cave,Ky. Nothing fancy but some interesting choices. A very local place but seems to get traffic from others traveling from the cave. Breakfast served until 11 on Sunday. Choices for lunch included sandwiches, pastas, salads and chicken with sides, pies for dessert. Service no nonsense in this very casual restaurant. You will like that you stopped.

Nice quaint local restaurant close to the lake. Unfortunately, they sold out of the big pretzel, but their smoked porkchop was very good. They also had a special peach cheesecake that was great. The service was friendly, they made us feel very welcomed. We will be back.

Cute little small town diner. Didn’t expect much, and it lived up to that. I had a BLT and some cheese fries, and we also got the jalapeño poppers. Good, nothing spectacular though. We were sad they were out of the pretzels when we went. Our waitress was sweet as can be! 10/10 for the service for sure. They had lots of silly little knick knacks around we enjoyed looking at while we were eating, too. Pretty view in the back, but it was a little too chilly to sit outside, unfortunately.

A very good place to eat. It's a bit high priced but isn't everything these days. The food is well worth it!

When visiting anywhere around Mammoth Cave National Park, it is well worth the drive to this authentic German restaurant! Driving is a bit longer due to the Green River Ferry being closed. Food and service....fantastic!

Really cute local restaurant. The food was good, but I'm pretty sure the gravy and biscuits were pre-made from a mix or a can. But, it was a really fun place to go.

On Saturday we stopped in with a large group. Honestly felt rude because it was so quiet and we had a load of kids. But the staff and people in the restaurant were so friendly and welcoming. Food was hot and came out fast and it was good. Thank you!

Best meal we had after eating everywhere in Edmonson County! Hospitality? It's like we were old fried and visited weekly! They loved having our children here, and they treated them like family! We need more places like this!

I really wanted this place to be good. That said we went Sat night for dinner and order 3 of the German options and someone else got veggies, the brats were so dry you couldn't Or didn't want to eat them My pork loin would have been better if it wasn't so over cooked I could hardly cut it The sweet tea was great Maybe because it's the end of the their season but the food should still be good

First time to eat German food. and it did not disappoint!Be sure to check to see if they are open before driving a distance. They close in October for the winter.Parking: Parking is on a gravel lot on a hill, which may be difficult for some patrons.Kid-friendliness: Children's menu.
