Wonderful folks in a nice area of downtown! Great and interesting books to purchase and read plus fantastic food and beverages at the bar! Plus beautiful artwork displayed and for sale bilocal artists!
I'm not one to really get on here and gush about places, but I am making an exception for Kenton Stories with Spirit. We happened upon this place while attending a festival that was held around the corner. After enjoying the sidewalk dining, we explored the store itself. What a gem. The hospitality was awesome, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I lucked out and bought a book about Simon Kenton, my favorite frontiersman. We will return.

This is a gem in a lovely river town in Kentucky. Wonderful books and local arts in the front, a wonderful bourbon bar in the back with a limited but excellent menu and really great people serving and conversing.
Definitely worth the trip, even if it requires a detour.
