Went to this place Sunday June 12th 2026 for the first time and it was epic!! The one young lady in there was awesome and served us well!!! The food was absolutely amazing. This will be our new place to go on lake weekends as we are down every weekend. Great Service great atmosphere and great food. You couldn’t ask for a better restaurant to be in that area!! This will definitely be my first top restaurant choice from now on!! If you want a good hotdog with good topping or some good samplers like chili cheese fries or loaded tots or even a good awesome burger this is the place to be!! Keep the young lady as a server she is awesome!!

Cool little family owned joint. Their pork, hot dogs and wings are all smoked. The wings and porgies dog were great as were the pulled pork loaded tots. They also have very unique dessert options. Will definitely visit again as I want to try their Chicago Dog!

Must stop if you’re in the area! Everything we tried from apps to out entrees was delicious! I particularly loved the Reuben dog! My hubs got the Jambalya bowl special of the week! They have so many options for everyone ! Come hungry leave happy !!

Enjoyed lunch here one day while camping at Axtel. Wife had a Chicago dog with tater tots and I had a cheeseburger with onion rings. Food was excellent and the staff was friendly. They have quite an extensive menu. You should check them out.

From what I saw this was one of the few restaurants in the area so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant has a very hometown feel and it looks like they often host local events there which gave it a nice community atmosphere. When we first walked in I did notice that some parts of the restaurant could use a little tidying up and the bathrooms are probably in need of a refresh. However the kind employees and the food made up for that pretty well. I got the fried chicken quesadilla and it was not bad at all. I also got a funnel cake with chocolate fudge and it was probably one of the best funnel cakes I have ever had. What really stood out to me though was when the owner came out to talk with us and suggest some cool places to visit during our trip. Overall if you are in the area I would definitely suggest trying out Porgies because it ended up being a really great experience.

Very good food, excellent service, seemingly quality ingredients and creative, enjoyable menu options. I sincerely hope this place breaks the mold of area restaurants and lasts much longer than just a few years. 😅

We had the chili dog and a burrito bowl. SO good is an understatement. We were given the seasonal pumpkin spice egg roll and we won’t be able to end our trip without getting it again. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was like back home. 10/10!
