Honestly was just looking for some hand scooped ice cream in town, ended up finding an absolute hidden gem here in downtown Middlesboro. The vibes in here are super cozy, with a whole lounge area with really chill vibes. They literally have a Wii open to customer use which is awesome. Also some books and board games for anyone who just wants to come by, grab a cone, and recline. Really cool and friendly owners. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our visit to The Cosmic Cafe! My husband and I came with some friends and had the best time. I had the creamsicle milkshake and my husband tried the key lime pie limeade—both were delicious and so refreshing.
The atmosphere in the back of the cafe is super relaxed, with cozy low lighting and chill lofi music playing. We grabbed one of the many board games available and spent time just enjoying the vibe and each other’s company.
This spot is perfect for studying, hanging out with friends, reading, or just having a good conversation. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I love this place I come here all the time with friends, they have some video games consoles set up in the back and they have a bunch of board games you can play for free and the environment is so chill. A great place to come and read or study. They always have lo-fi music playing and they even have couches in the back. Middlesboropoly has been a recent go-to!!

This is such a sweet concept business. They're just getting started and finding their way. It's a safe place for teens and college kids to hang out, chat with the workers, play free video games like Minecraft, even Wii, or board games and eat sugar laden treats. I would recommend the cotton candy burrito or a new fashioned float (the Cheerwine Floats are, WOW!) or simply have a couple of scoops of ice cream. It's a nice place to just sit for a few minutes, listen to some good music, and relax. The place is decorated with older furniture, making it feel like you've stopped by a friend's house to visit. It's is a nice addition to the downtown area.

Visited the Cafe on August 3. The shop is welcoming and has cozy seating options however, not enough if the place were very busy. We were the only two guests at the time. The drawback to the place is that many many shops along the street remain empty so it doesn't help to the draw to the location. There is a limited menu for the location to have been open around two years so an expansion to it can definitly help. The sweet treat options are definitly a sugar rush. The order took longer than expected to arrive considering the three or four ingredients the ice cream burrito may have contained. However the presentation and concept were great. The overall experience was good. Hopefully any future visit while we are in town will be as good or better.

we had my daughters 13th party here yesterday! great place, great people! it's a unique spot, I'd recommend for any kind of gathering honestly. games, rustic feel with exposed brick, lots of picture spots, huge open room with high ceilings. Don't hesitate to reserve this place!! p.s try anything with the honey on it!!!
