Unfortunately they were closed when we got there around noon, maybe the next time we head that way they will be open, however we enjoyed walking around the beautiful town of Midway and enjoying some of the shops that were open!!

Highly recommend. From what I understand from talking to the owners, this was a full table service sit down restaurant pre-Covid. They reopened in November as a walk up to order we’ll bring you your food type place. I never ate here in their previous iteration, but man it just feels like a chef that has been liberated now. The menu had maybe (5?) fixed items, with another 4-5 items of the day. Don’t hold me to that. The point is, there is a very talented cook that seems to want to give you consistency if you need it, and half a menu of “Let’s give it a try!”. Loved it, and will be going back regularly.

We had lunch here and it was great. My friend and I each got a sandwich and then shared. Both sandwiches were great, but now I can't remember what we each got. I do remember it was delicious.

I was remembering places I ate on my vacation to Kentucky and I remembered this gem. This restaurant has amazing food, amazing staff, and a great feel to it. I’m so glad that we stumbled across it on our trip!

If you can get them to answer their phone the food is decent. But good luck getting them to answer.

This place was absolutely amazing. Had a hot brown and it didn't disappoint.

Located inside an old mill the place has charm, good food, and a nice selection of beer, In warm weather, you can eat out on the porch. and see R J Corman trains pass by.

I go to Darlin Jean's for the onion rings. I always get one or more orders for the table. My favorite entree is Vidalia Chicken, which includes 4 more onion rings. My husband loves the fish and chips.

This place is smaller on the inside than it appears on the outside and there are some interesting collections of memorabilia scattered throughout the facility. When we first arrived the young Hostess actually tried to discourage us from coming in because she had just sat 3 large parties by telling us that the wait would be too long--45 minutes or longer on this Sunday night. I looked around and saw the 3 parties of 8 or 10 people and decided to stay to her surprise. It was worth it as the servers were busy but pleasant. An extensive varied menu for a small place. We recommend the Shrimp App because of the sauce, the bagel sandwich and of course the blackberry cobbler with ice cream ($5). The next time I return I intend to get the stuffed pork chop

First time experience here. Had to wait 15 mins to get our drinks ordered. Food was over priced for what it was. I took maybe 3 bites of mine and was very disappointed. the potato casserole was nothing like a loaded bake potato. Too creamy. Husband had fish and chips. He was satisfied with his. We weren't charged for our drinks, so that was an added bonus ,i liked the legacy on the menu and the family atmosphere but I probably won't be back.

As a local of Midway, this is a weekly stop. Their menu is amazing and no one can top their baked potato casserole. If we aren’t able to dine-in, then we are always stopping in to pick up one of the tasty pizzas. Darlin Jeans never disappoints. The staff are also as friendly as you will find anywhere. Try to leave room for a cobbler!
