Absolutely phenomenal dining experience! Gibson delivered one of the best meals I've had in ages. The lamb was hands-down the standout—perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The pork chop was equally impressive: juicy, well-seasoned, and beautifully plated. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. From start to finish, everything was spot-on. If you're anywhere near Midway, KY, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Gibson is a gem!

Visiting family from out of town. This was my first time visit here. Midway was having their Fall festival and we sat outside on the patio so we could listen to the live music. We ordered the Belgium pasta and enjoyed the penne with pesto alfredo and grilled chicken. The pork chop with the peach sauce and fingerling potatoes was very good. Would recommend that dish to anyone.

Really Great food! Really Great Drinks! Outstanding service!! After talking with our Fantastic Server, Paula, we discovered that they have been through a few menu changes since they originally opened. That change is good, very good. Very tasty. I had the peach glazed pork chop, just a touch of sweet, and thick cut... Phenomenal! It was served with fingerling potatoes and shaved brussel sprouts, that were seasoned and roasted perfectly. I started with the house salad, they have all house made dressings. Their warm bacon vinaigrette was the perfect balance of tangy, sweet, and luscious smoky, salty, bacon! Mike kept us feeling good, with some awesome drinks, and exemplary service.... The aesthetics inside and outside are fun and well worth looking around. It was clean and welcoming. A fantastic experience. If you are in the area, or even if you are not, it is worth a detour to stop by and have a great time!

Nope, this isn't how it works. You can't charge these prices and have some newbie serve a table of 6. He was nice, but the service was slow. This was a slow night. It's a neat looking place, but we're not spending $300 (no alcohol) for a table of 6 again here. I am being nice with the 3-star because the food was good, but combine these prices and that service, and it's a not-again restaurant. You guys need to do better. Higher prices mean this isn't Applebees.
