We came for dinner on the patio. The patio was open, and the service was excellent. We had the shrimp bruchetta appetizer with the and filet special. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be returning to try other menu items!

We ordered: Castle Gin & Tonic & An Old Fashioned for drinks. Both were great. Muscles and Fried Green Tomatoes for appetizers. The 14Oz Ribeye and Sea Scallops for the main course one with the dinner salad and one with a Caesar Salad.The appetizers were good. The Muscles had a delicious broth that was great for dipping the bread in. We really enjoyed that.The Caesar salad was different. It had peppercinis in it.The Ribeye was cooked perfectly and had great flavor and seasoning.The Scallops were good, but the risotto that came with them was the best I've ever tasted! I think it was the best part of the meal.Overall the experience was timley, comfortable, and satisfying. I would recommend giving this place a try. And if you like risotto, you will love it here!

I was very glad I stopped in. This little gem is in downtown Midway and does not disappoint. The menu has a wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts and cocktails. The staff is warm and friendly. They allow for substitutions and special orders. They are accommodating and courteous.Follow us for more great reviews™

Highly recommend the steakhouse burger!This was our first time visiting Midway. We were hungry and since there was an empty parking spot in front of Gibson's we went in. We'd never heard of it and walked in completely unbiased. Hostess was very friendly. We got a table right away. Our server was just as friendly and attentive. We both ordered the steakhouse burger and WOW. This burger is $12 on the menu (with a crazy amount of waffle fries) and could easily be $16-18 in a larger city and be WORTH EVERY PENNY. It's hand patted and cooked to order. The brioche bun was fresh and had a delightful G branded on top. It was absolutely fantastic! Now I know that I'm going to have to drive from Louisville when I'm craving a burger because I haven't had one in this town that even comes close to the Gibson's steakhouse burger. Best burger I've had in a long long time, and a great value too!

Have been here before and never had any issues, but last night was unbelievable. Arriving around 6:30, we ordered a bottle of wine, and it took almost 10 minutes before it was brought to us and it wasn't what we ordered. Told her again what we wanted and it took another 10 minutes before our waitress came back to tell us it wasn't available, so we ordered a different one. Again, 10 minutes pass and they were also out of that one! Nearly 45 minutes of waiting, we finally got our 4th choice of wine. Then, it took over an hour before we finally started receiving our food. Food was good, but the evening was ruined. They definitely need more staff and some decent wines!

Overall we were not impressed. Steak was over cooked and my meal came out with the wrong side. The crab cake meal had no flavor came out room temperature and was not worth eating. Flies were buzzing around everywhere outside and ended up in our drinks. Server was friendly. We will not be back due to poor quality food and high prices.
