The best. Heirloom has been consistently the best restaurant since 2006. It never disappoints. Lexington has great restaurants but Midway is the quintessential KY town and Heirloom is the Midway gem. Gretchen never disappoints with the superb service.

We had such a lovely experience at Heirloom! The food was superb, as were the drinks. Service was top-notch (esp from Chaney and Bobby). It's an absolute value for what you receive. Excellent on every level.

Second time enjoying this place. The food is eclectic and cooked to perfection. Everyone in our group of 7 loved everything they ordered. Gretchen, our server was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. This is our go to restaurant every time we get to Frankfort-can't wait till next time.

When you automatically add gratuity to a table of 6 it is polite to tell them. Server didn't deserve to get a 200 dollar tip from us.

Cheerful Hostess greeted us upon arrival! Glasses already watered and butter on the table. Server brought us a basket of assorted breads with a raspberry balsamic. A hot spot for locals & super swanky! Loved all the decor and atmosphere. Music fit all genres. We started with the potato & leek soup and a spinach craisen salad. Delicious! Chef put did himself on both presentation & deliciousness! We shared the Red Snapper with mouth watering carrots ? & we added a side of seasonal mushrooms & whipped Yukon potatoes. The house Pinot Grigio complimented our entire experience! Well done Lisa in your recommendations! You allowed us to be guided by you! Desert menu had a S’mores & an Expresso Martinis that we finished off our evening with! Keep doing great things & we will see you again on our adventures in your area! You made our two year anniversary super memorable! Thank you!

From beginning to end our whole dinner was exquisite. We started with a delicious crab cake and amazing charcuterie. The pickled beets and carrots! So tasty ! For my Entree I had the pan seared Snapper that was prepared perfectly . My husband and son had the porcini rubbed beef filet that they both raved over ! We finished with an amazing chocolate torte that is what I call chocolate love ! Yum Thank you Heirloom for an amazing evening!

Heirloom is always a wonderful dining experience. The food is delicious. The service is great. We love celebrating special occasions there so much. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience yet again! It is truly one of my favorite places to go!

Sorely disappointed after reading many positive reviews. My wife had the scallops, which arrived with severe charring, to the point she had to trim away the tops. I had the rubbed filet, weird sweet potatoes and opted to sub mushrooms for the asparagus, which was a terrible move. A couple of the mushrooms were great, but the other three were like trying to cut a dolls hair and tasted only what I can imagine about the same. The Italian wedding soup, unfortunately, was the highlight of our meal. Service was okay, but our waiter said tonight's soup is absolutely delicious...but then had to look to see which one it was. Ah well, it's a fine establishment, but one we won't venture back to. For $160 w/tip, very underwhelming to say the least.

Really good meal! The spinach salad is so tasty. I was skeptical of the shrimp and grits as I don't normally care for a grit cake, but the flavor was otherworldly and this may be the best shrimp and grits flavor wise I've ever eaten. Very delicious meal! Heirloom never disappoints!

Food and service were excellent. It's a little noisy in the restaurant at times...but that would be my only minor complaint. Would be nice to have large cubes for old fashioneds, too.

We booked a reservation for our anniversary after having lunch here a while back and had a wonderful time!!! They do also take walk-ins so a reservation isn't necessary but I'd recommend it just to be sure they have a spot for you and it's a great way to give the staff a heads up with any dietary restrictions. The staff was incredibly helpful in modifying menu items for a vegan and were happy to do so. Everything we had was expertly prepared and visually stunning. You should note that this is absolutely a fine dining experience so it will be more expensive than your average restaurant but considering the quality of the dishes, the ingredients used, the skill required to prepare them, and the portion sizes it's definitely well worth the money but even then the prices aren't as high as other places that severely lack the atmosphere and menu creativity. As a twenty year chef, I have zero complaints and will absolutely be returning. Brilliant work and if I could give more stars I would readily do so. Thank you all so much for a wonderful evening.Sincerely,D.B. SpadeChefVegetarian options: My wife is vegan so when I booked the reservation I put it in the notes and the staff was sure to let us know what dishes were or weren't vegan and how they could modify them. She had no issues at all with the menu.
