My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We have been married over 30 years and have eaten at many fine restaurants through the years. I am not exaggerating at all when I say, we were blown away at essentially everything about Holly Hill Inn. Upon entering we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles and professional hospitality. Our dining room was to the left of the foyer and was cozy and full of charm. We started with cocktails and my wife stated it's one of the "best"...
So was looking forward to this reservation. The service was pretty unacceptable but I do not blame our waitress. She was most apologetic, there was a kitchen breakdown. An hour and a half after being seated we had our drink order and just received course one. Most dishes were very good, scallops mediocre as was the pork chop. But the chicken was excellent and the desserts some of best we've ever had. Ended up being almost three hours and that was too long for a table of 2....
Been hearing about Holly Hill Inn for years, and it lived up to the hype! The food was absolutely phenomenal. We were impressed by all of the eight dishes we shared. The staff were wonderful, and the property was gorgeous. I was also pleasantly surprised to see non-alcoholic wine options. Highly recommend!!!
