“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Morehead. The interior decor gives you the impression that it’s a dive, but the food is consistently excellent. The staff are always kind and helpful.

The salsa, beans, and rice are standard Mexican restaurant fare that misses an opportunity to go above and beyond. However, their mains and Patron margaritas never disappoint.

The loaded nachos fajitas should please even the pickiest of eaters, but I highly recommend their Carnitas Mexicanos. You won’t find this dish on their current menu, but they’ll be glad to serve you the dish. Carnitas Mexicanos is delicious nuggets of slow roasted, well seasoned carnitas meat with onions and tomatoes, but I order mine cooked with fresh jalapeño to give it the perfect amount of kick.”

“You have to stop by for the sandwiches alone!! I ordered the sweet & Smokey melt and this was hands down THE BEST sandwich I’ve ever had!! We were only in town for a basketball game, one of the parents was bragging about their sugar cookies (they give first timers one free too) ! I am so jealous of the locals having such a gem locally. We made sure to stock up with lunch, honey buns, fresh baked bread, no bake cookies & the kiddos wouldn’t leave without a cake pop! Everything we bought was amazing and the staff so was friendly. I can’t say enough great things about this place! We will definitely be back!!”

“In my opinion this China Cafe has the most consistent, and fresh food in town. Large variety of all the most popular American Chinese dishes. Very friendly staff. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Prices are different depending on day and time. Cheaper buffets and takeout during lunch hours on weekdays.”

“Stopped in today, August 27, 2022 with a group of 16 friends. Food and service was great!! I got the pork barbecue sandwich with coleslaw and fried green tomatoes. Everything tasted great. We also got the beer cheese and fried tortilla chips and bread for appetizer and it was amazing. Every person liked their food and said they would come back. Cant say enough good things about this little restaurant near Cave Run Lake.”
