One of the coolest coffee shops nestled right in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain range in Morehead, KY. Situated near campus it attracts locals, and the college crowd. - I’d rate this coffee shop one of my five favorite coffee shops in the state - an amazing bookstore is attached and the coffee is great! Love the Fuzzy Duck!
One Morehead's hidden treasures. Great Coffee and breakfast fare--best scones in the state--hot or cold! Awesome lunch selections including vegetarian and vegan options. The Coffee Shoppe is just the preview to the main attraction of the Coffee Tree Book Store in the back. After all, both establishments are co-housed in an old movie theater building. I loved my soup and sandwich and my son loved his egg sandwich but my boyfriend thought his Reuben was a little bland, he didn't realize it was going to be a turkey Reuben. Our drinks were great and the book store in the back was very eclectic. If I lived there, it'd be a neat little spot to meet up with friends and hang out.Parking: It's street parking, some was free but hard to find a spot close.
