“It was late, and we were on a road trip. Not many places opened late at night, so we decided to head through the drive-through at this McDonald's location. Placed our order and was asked to pull up. The wait was terrible. We didn't have a large order either. Normal chicken nugget, fries, and mcflurry meal. We had sat for a bit and then saw another driver pull up behind us. Saw that they had gotten their food quite quick, so I was hoping ours would be out soon. Took about another 5 min, and it arrived as ordered. That was a plus. The food was very hot. Meaning it was fresh. I'm happy about that. Would've liked a bit faster service, but it's always a plus when your orders are correct.
May have been an off night, so I would give it another try if we were in the area.“

“This is no longer a McDonald's but is now Cajun Kitchen. We stopped here on our way west from Huntington to Georgetown. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Mary had crab cakes and seafood bisque. The soup was chock full of seafood and was delicious. The crab cakes had a lot of crab meat and were perfectly prepared.
I had crawfish etouffee which was pleasantly spicy, seasoned just right on a bed of white rice.
We will be back on our next stop in Morehead.“
