The Local Press Coffee

I've lived in Louisville my whole life and never ventured to Mt Washington until today, specifically to come here! It did not disappoint! I came in during a bit of a rush, which was kind of nice because I got to take my time looking around at everything they have to offer! Honey, bread, pre-made grab and go foods, and all kinds of goodies from Blue Dog Bakery in Louisville.

The coffee is delicious, the staff is really nice, and the atmosphere is great! They have a nice patio area with umbrellas if you want to sit outside, and there is a decent amount of seating inside. I appreciate that they have some counter seating in case you want to stand.

I'll have to take the trip out here more often!

I couldn’t love this little coffee shop more! It is such a local gem. I have tried so many different drinks and have loved them all. The staff is friendly and the space is welcoming. I highly recommend!

Love this place! It is super peaceful! The avocado toast is my absolute favorite! People often complain about the waiting time. Which can be awhile but it’s is well worth the wait as well as them making sure everything is high quality. Very sweet ladies as well!

Very slow service, but otherwise not bad. Just be prepared to wait, and don't stop in on your way to work with very little time to spare. It seems like maybe they're new and still working out the process of how to take orders and make coffee drinks at the same time. Espresso was decent. Eggs were good!
I'm sure they'll get it figured out over time and be able to provide both fast and friendly service.

I was in town visiting and had to try this adorable coffee shop!! Service, food, and coffee was AMAZING!! Best Avocado toast!!! I loved my butter pecan iced coffee with coconut milk!! Loved it so much, we went back the next day and I tried their homemade egg bites that were equally amazing!

My husband and I had the best experience here! They had a drink called the Purple coconut... its and ube latte with coconut. I hadn't been able to find an ube drink since I was in Hawaii & this drink brought back all the memories of being there! One of the BEST lattes I have had!! My husband got a vanilla latte & he said it was amazing too! Oh! & the cinnamon roll... OMG. SO GOOD!! This place exceeds all expectations you have of a coffee shop! The staff was SO wonderful & told us that they would help us to customize our drinks to our liking (adding stuff if it wasnt sweet enough... etc.) We will be return customers for sure! Thank you guys for being so amazing!!

Each time you walk through the door, you’re greeted with a warm, sincere welcome. Every beverage is excellent and the pastries are so delicious. I go out of my way to visit this wonderful coffee shop.

Literally my favorite place to get coffee and breakfast foods. The atmosphere is relaxing, the decorations are cozy. The staff goes above and beyond. You have to try this place!!!
